Definitely the place to go in the Tri cities if you need work done to your boat. They are second to no one in the area. Great mechanics, great guys who do business the right way!!

This place It's NOT professional or concerned about retaining business. I brought 2 motors in for repair in mid May. I was given a price and told they would be ready in a couple of weeks. On June 14 I was told that my motors are in pieces and "I would have to pay extra if I wanted them repaired in a timely manner". Now, I'm picking up my motors still not running and out the time and money for NOTHING.

These guys here are awesome! Absolute hidden gem. Total professional quality service. I had some issues with my transmission on a Jeep. I called around and most mechanics didn't even want to take on the job. I even called around Kingsport and Johnson City to ask around. They all told me it could be many issues and being an older vehicle wasn't worth the effort of having to pay more than the vehicle cost. I figured I would give the Boat Doctors a try as I heard they also work on cars and trucks. I was a bit concerned at first but they did not disappoint!

Upon arrival to the shop, I noticed that all the mechanics were busy working. As soon as they spotted me, one immediately came over and greeted me and asked to see what I needed. After looking at my Jeep, they wanted to do a thorough diagnostics. They informed me the cost would be free if they ended up doing the repair, otherwise it was something like $75. They didn’t really take that long to pinpoint the actual mechanical problem. It turned out being the clutch and not the transmission at all like those other mechanics told me. They found a new part right away and quoted an estimate that came in lower than Chiltons suggested repair cost. I was so thrilled to hear the great price of the repair and the saving I was getting. I do most repairs on my truck myself but hearing how much time and effort I was saving was well worth it.

I would definitely recommend this mechanics shop for services. Who knew that a marine boat repair shop could compare so well to a regular auto repair shop. It's hard to find courteous, professional, and honest auto service shops nowadays! These guys had a fair price and the awesome mechanics! It's nice to know that there are still some honest folks around Tri Cities. The best service around town.

After reading the experience that others had at this bussiness I don't feel as badI have known numerous people that got horrible service or the lack of from this bussiness..after taking my jet ski in for repairs(recommend by my insurance company ) I was told that I needed an engine or rebuild my engine. After nearly a year run around with them about the repairs, calling and going by there,I finally decided to just pick up my jet ski, upon inspection of the parts numerous parts were not there.so I again entered the rat race with them by calling and going by the bussinessand was finally told that the parts could not be found or had been sold as used parts to someone elsewith that said I took ski to Rodney in bluff city who did an amazing job at a reasonable price.so im back on the lake again..
