The entire family enjoy going here. Walking on paths back and fort around a hill may be challenging for some people

Pricey for what all the offered vs how much was really there.
We went with a group, the guy at the front desk was friendly.
Lion was advertised as well as others like a Several, but yet they were not there at all, only 2 tigers were on display and the enclosures were all pretty bad, animals didn't have any feed at all out.
The reason for my harsh review is that this place actually has signs out that they will prosecute children if they take feathers that are laying on the ground, when they charge $10 for 2 year olds and up for admission and don't even provide what they claim to much less have the grounds kept up, it's kind of ridiculous to want to prosecute people and children over bird feathers.
We def will not be back there, I'd much rather just goto a large more expensive zoo that is better maintained. The paths were not even kept up, just grave that the water had cut paths and holes into, you can't use a stroller here either.
Looks like their main business is animal breeding more than anything as they typically just had pairs of the animals and some with young, kinda looks like a glorified animal mill to us.
So in short, it's a small zoo in someones back yard that doesn't do alot to maintain the area you walk in. They don't always have what they advertise regardless they sold you that idea that was what you were getting and then to let you know how they feel about you they have signs around to let you know they will call the cops and prosecute you for so much as a tiny bird feather.
If you ask the animals they sure don't look happy, small enclosures mostly having no grass and just dirt. For instances the Lamas fur was so crazy matted, it was obvious no one cared to take care of them, the tigers had pretty much nothing in their tiny pen. The large turtles probably had it the best. The wart hog is basically crammed in a closet and is stressed out really badly..

If there are alot of people there that place must be even more enjoyable, there isn't alot of parking much less room for a crowed of people to get around, no advisable for groups.
They only offer porta pottys, no indoor bathrooms, some nasty looking outdoor sink that isn't connected to a water supply to wash your hands in, untelling what is living in the portable tank for it.
This was the worst animal exhibit I've been to yet.response / report this review -

Great place to go and see a lot of animals. It's not only for the young. I had a blast there and plan to go again.

We enjoyed our visit. We got to feed a few of the animals and had a great time. Definitely recommend stopping by and feeding the monkeys!!!

This was a hidden little gem of a zoo!! The animals are very cell kept and a lot of fun to interact with. Even kids will enjoy feeding and learning. Staff are super friendly and helpful! Take time to visit please and enjoy as well as support the beauty and care of these amazing friendly animals! Loved the Monkeys!!!!!

I absolutely loved this lil place it's so affordable and my daughter had a great time feeding the monkeys lemurs and Hoofed animals. It's awesome wasn't crowded and not overwhelming like zoos in big cities. Very self explanatory and easy to find everything.

Small but nice zoo. Feed/snack options for monkeys, lemurs and hoofed animals. Still a work in progress in a few places, but seems to be growing. Some of the cages seem a bit small, specifically the hyenas' and Tigers'.

Cute little zoo. It is nice. however the paths to be walked are terrible its not kid friendly especially for strollers SUCKS for a stroller. The price for adult it resonable at 10.00 but I will not be going back EVER nor will a lot of others that were with me the day we went. They charge 10.00 for my 2 year old! INSANE! not even Knoxville does that nor does any place you eat at. I understand if you want to charge for a 2 yr old but to be put in the same place as an adult!!! I can see maybe 1/2 if you want to charge but not 10.00 for a 2 yr old. I guess they figure if you can walk you have to pay! . Its not worth it. Another thing thats wrong that even Knoxville allowsif you plan to spend more than half a day at this zoo (dont though you can see everything in 25 mins!) and you have snacks/lunch in cooler you cant leave it in your car once you pay and go in they will not allow you to go out and back in just to get you food. Its sad that people in this area are struggling and Im sure this zoo is too but to be complete stuck up rude keeping up with the Jones's type people they should close their zoo and move it to an area with people more up to there speed. Here everyone is down to earth. Kind and always pulling together when needed not trying to be something they arent. I feel this place is so eager to be like a big zoo they take it to far like the charging for someone that shouldn't even really be charged but since they insist it is totally over priced for a toddler and bogus that you can be allowed to go to your vehicle an back in. Upon observing their attitudes they are more rude than anything the only people they talked nice to where those that purchased food from their shack and/or their gift shop.

I really enjoyed our family outing a few weeks ago to this gem. Although our son (15 months) is a bit young to appreciate the experience, we had so much fun exposing him to all of the animals, which were not skittish in the least. The zoo's philosophy to make it an interactive and educational experience is well observed in how the animals socialized with us. We feed the zebra, camels, llama, wildebeests, lemurs, and more. And the price was so reasonable ($10, plus an optional $2 for feed). We will definitely be back with our older teenagers. I loved it and I know they will, too.
