When we checked in, I asked about the ligonier days parade. The inn keeper had no idea when it was. The whole building was chilly in atmosphere and temperature. Safety rails were present in the halls along with large areas of towel and empty spaces.
The room was comfortable and very clean. Bath towels were small and thin and the soaps were small -2"X 1"- broke in your hands. No phone in the rooms - if there was an emergency you could not reach the front desk.
The inn was very disappointing. Reminded us of a personal care home which it was in a previous life. The tap room was another chilly room with a nice bar.
I wish i could write a review on this Hotel and its amenities but we never had the chance to stay there. Our room reservations were canceled a week before our planned visit. When we spoke to the representative of the Inn, She gave no reason why our reservations were cancelled and did nothing to help us find other accommodations. We were unable to enjoy the vacation we planned months in advance. So, basically, book at your own risk and have a contingency plan in place.
Pumpkin ales on tap. Bacon cheeseburger was awesome.
