If your looking 4 drugs or girl's great place hang in the hallways just like they do on the coroners 1 stop shopping no joke
No room service. Strange people hanging out here. No extra pillows or towels available. Front desk is usually unattended.
This place isn't on my recommended stay list unless you're looking for a cheap place to go.
I'd likely run away and never bring my family here.
My room had no fire alarm, there was a spider and long black hair on my towel, the door had about a half inch I could see under the door and shower had a lot of hidden water damage in the ceiling and wall. I'm not sure if they are renovating the entire complex but this place looks a bit shady pulling in. I'm pretty sure my Clorox wipes helped the next person coming in after me. This place has extra thin walls. I brought my own blankets and pillows just to be safe. I don't recommend thinking about the hotel shampoo as mine wasn't charged from the previous guests.
Also, some of the other guests look shady and I assume some are residents.
The staff and check in were pretty nice.
I think I'll shower at a local gym next time and sleep in my car though if this is the only place available.
Terrible management, understaffed, uncomfortable atmosphere.
Turns out the hotel was overbooked and the guy at the front desk was scrambling to find a room. He also claimed that people had been checked out that weren't supposed to be. In his defense, he did the best he could under the circumstances and was helpful. Finally, 20+ minutes and two occupied rooms later, we finally got our room. It was clean and we had no problems once we settled in. It's also a 5 mile drive from the ICC which is convenient.
In spite of these, I would still run far away from this place. The overall management of the place was unacceptable, and the atmosphere was uncomfortable. There were people loitering, and we later found out there were people LIVING in the hotel that were most likely drug addicts. We came back one night to find a door propped open by someone we presumed to be an owner of the place. While the door was being watched, there's no telling who he could have let in there.
I would advise not traveling here if you are with small children or by yourself (some of the clientele was questionable).
Will not be staying here again.
This hotel is a joke. Not only were there bed bugs, but cockroaches also. I had to make my kids wear shoes every time they got out of bed, if not their feet were completely disgusting. They changed the "rules" and the price every other day. There were two girls at the front desk that were helpful and that's it. The air conditioning didn't work. The shower water fluctuated, it was never the temperature you wanted. They pool had stuff floating in it. Point blank, the people "running" this hotel don't know what they are doing and this place needs to be shut down.
Check in was easy, but the person behind the desk was often not able to be found when needed. The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes, although our room was non smoking and didn't smell. The inside of the hotel is a little dingy and some outside doors that don't go through the lobby are left unlocked, so that's probably not the safest. Definitely a little overpriced given the condition of the hotel, but if you can get a good deal it's not terrible. Just over a ten minute ride into the city, and plenty of Ubers around if you don't feel like driving.
Check in was quick. The room was okay but smelled like smoke. There were only 2 towels in the room when we requested 4. This is issue was never resolved. Our room keys were disabled and because no one was at the desk, it took forever for it to be fixed.
These photos do not look anything like the real hotel. Called to reserve room got there on the day I was to check in and they told me I wasn't in the system and they had no clean rooms. They took my name and phone number and said they would call when rooms were clean. They never called back which was good because I was not gonna return with my family. The place was grungy looking inside as well as outside. There was a guy in there that way trying to sell a couple a ring in the loby. The place had a weird smell. Seen a officer and asked how safe it was to have my family there and he stated it's not. I will not return. I called to talk to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and she don't have a phone number for one. Just to let everyone know I had to rate with one star or I couldn't post this. I do not want to rate it with a star but I want everyone to know.
Towels seem to be at a premium here and the staff is rather ambivalent. The rates are surprisingly cheap and with good reason: everything about this place is rather lime hot garbage.
Sketchy people hanging around inside and out. The room was not cleaned. We did not even stay the night, we left without a refund.
The Indy lodge on the south side of Indianapolis is at a great location next to restraunts and the rooms were nice and clean , the employees we're nice and helpful. The hotel seems safe with security doors that are password code entry. And amazing that it was the dirtiest hotel two years ago to a nice clean hotel says alot and would give recommend for family and friends to stay there
We went and did a walk threw. Where do I begin. This place is so nasty. The front deak looks decent. The front office lady Tammy was very unprofessional. Told us she lives there since Aug. Told us if we were to see roaches it would just be a couple but they are dying off!!! Seriously!!! I about lost it then. A person called and asked a question after she hung the phone up she said that man gets on my nerves. So basically talking cheap about a person you were nice to over the phone. We went to the room was so gross, mattress was yellow and brown, carpet was very dirty. The hallway had lots and lots of traffic. Everybody was going to everyone's rooms. Reminded me of a college dorm with lots of young immature kids. One group of kids had a pit bull running loose in the hallway. This place needs shut down!!!!!!
Receptionist gave me a tour of the suites and rooms b4 I decided to stay there, neither were bad. Receptionist was friendly. It's ok for a temporary stay
