I was glad it didn't collapse while I was there. It could go any minute. The higher seats are like being in an oven. There are extension cords running along the floor. I probably won't be going back.

It was a nice enough venue, and the old architecture was beautiful, but it could use a serious renovation. The paint was peeling from the ceilings, the seats and bannister were stained and chipped, and the bathroom stalls reminded me of elementary school. I don't expect they get enough business to do serious work, but it's sad to see such an historic building falling into disrepair.

Have been here several times to see concerts and plays. I like the old style and ambience of the theater. The acoustics are pretty good and visibility has been good from any seat I've been in. The concession areas are not optimal for quick turnaround but they are staffed by volunteers.

Very crowded close together seating. During intermission you'll never be able to use the restrooms or get anything to drink because the line is soooo long.

I loved it! The experience was amazing!!! I was there watching a Peter Pan play made by only children and it couldn't have been better if we were at a different theatre.

Needs more love. Our local theater tries mightily and often succeeds. Classic theater with balcony and organ. They have interesting shows when open. Serve beer, wine, and mixed drinks during some events. A little run down, but it's the theater we attend most often.

Went to see Ed Turner and the Number 9 band last night at the Imperial Theatre. What a treat to have such a historic venue in downtown Augusta, GA. Will be seeing more shows at this venue in the future. Anyone who loves the 50's and 60's book your ticket to see Ed Turner and Number 9. Highly recommend this concert.
