Really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly staff, super dog friendly and clean and updated facilities. Will definitely go again. Only complaint is that the wifi was a little spotty, but better than most other campgrounds we've been to.

If you're looking for a place to park your trailer or RV in order to be close to the beach, this is great for that. If you are looking to CAMP and be in nature, not so much. There is a city street on one side of the campground fence & houses surrounding the entire campground. The spaces are also VERY tightly packed, so much that we actually worried that our slide out would be over the site next to us & we might need to move the trailer over some when we first pulled in. Overall, it got the job done for a weekend trip, but we had to go out to find things to do as much a possible bc hanging out at the campground wasn't a great option with kids. The pool is a nice touch & the staff is friendly.

As far as campgrounds go this little one is very nice. Very clean and orderly. Cabins are small but nice. Short walk to the beach and lighthouse

Great RV park and staff. Super kind, wonderful location. Close enough to Savannah that we've taken daily drives to the historic district. Also within walking distance to two beach areas. Clean pool and good sized sites. Shade trees on some of the spots too.

Although we did not end up camping here, our experience with their customer service was extremely disappointing. Because of Hurricane Irma, we called to get a status of the campground and got a recording stating they were closed until further notice. That along with the posting on their website implied they had no idea as to when they could reopen. The phone message further stated that because of the Hurricane, they were providing refunds if you wished to cancel. We sent an email as they required requesting cancellation and refund and booked a new campground. They then responded saying they would only provide a 6 month guest credit. After several emails explaining how we are travelling from Arizona and had to make alternate arrangements to insure we had camping facilities for the remainder of our trip, we were basically told too bad. no acknowledgement of their prior phone message or website statements. So as of right now we are out our deposit. In all fairness, we knew the policy for refunds when we booked, but I see this as extenuating circumstances both because of the Hurricane and their phone message. Yet they offered no compromise of any kind. They basically told us to go ahead and say whatever we felt we had to on social media apparently they don't care about public image. This may be because they appear to owned by the city. My recommendation is to search out other alternative camping especially if travelling during Hurricane season.

Excellent location on Tybee Island! Close proximity to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Bikes and/or golf carts are highly recommended! Many nearby rentals available and will deliver. Grounds staff were very friendly and helpful. Camp sites have very limited space, shade, or privacy, but very clean. Loved the community pool and laundry facilities. Beware of mosquitoes and have fun exploring the island!

Stayed here with my wife, 4yr-old and infant and we really enjoyed it! We stayed at one of the primitive camp sites and it was great; nice clean location shaded by live oak trees. The tent pad was clean (gravel with no weeds or large rocks). The staff is friendly and will escort you to your site when you check in. Everyone was quiet/courteous; no loud music/parties, just the occasional Diesel truck coming through. The camp ground is located immediately next to the Tybee island police department and is an easy walk to the beach (~1mi). I recommend bringing a bike to get around the island as that is more efficient than walking/driving.

Awesome place to stay on Tybee Island! Very reasonable weekly rates. The staff is great and very knowledgeable in regards to the area and very friendly. The closeness to the beach is amazing. All of the amenities on site you could ask for and then some. We have a pop up camper so the camp site was perfect, but i could see where having a larger camper it could be tight. We would definitely come back and recommend River's End Campground to anyone wanting to come to the area. Thank you to the Owners and Staff!

This is a very nice campground. I don't think there is a bad spot in the whole park and there are some really good ones. Lots of trees provide shade. Park is well maintained and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return here on another visit

There are many amenities, and everything seemed to be clean and in good working order. The hosts and staff were readily available, and all very friendly. The location is great. If I had to complain about something, I would say the campsites are on the small side. There is a 2 vehicle maximum for a reason. And I was a little disappointed that I was placed on the main road, but I knew there was a chance that would happen, and I didn't request anything different. On the plus side it was very easy to pull through. Overall, I was very impressed.

The best thing about this place is the proximity to the beach and a couple good seafood restaurants. The staff welcomed us and escorted us to our spot. I prefer having more room, the RV spots were pretty crammed together and though our spot was more spacious than some, the angle was odd so that the front of our RV window faced directly at the couple next door, their fire pit, and their lawn chairs. Weird. I felt uncomfortable keeping my shades up even during the day because it wasn't a good view. Showers were individual rooms with toilets, which I like because of privacy but the stall is super tiny unless you go to the handicapped one. Pretty clean. Overall I'd go back just knowing now what to expect.
