This small, no-frills restaurant offers good quality sushi at a reasonable price. You will like the portion sizes as they are larger than many higher priced establishments in the area. Service is very good and the menu offers a good variety of nigiri and rolls to choose from.

Best sushi in the area, good for vegetarians/ vegans, relaxed, fast, friendly. The owners are genuine and welcoming. It's small, but you'll never feel rushed. Casual, but high quality.

We used to love this place and come by 2-4 times a month. The sushi is pretty good and the price is very reasonable. We would also bring by friends all the time. About four months ago the service started to tank and we noticed the wait staff wasn't very nice to us anymore. We're not sure why as we are always generous tippers and rarely linger around. They always seem to be friendly to regulars (which we definitely are), and they sort of cut us out. Today there was a three way fight between one of the owners and two of the servers, in front of the whole restaurant. It was very unprofessional and ruined our meal. It was all we could think or talk about. This sealed the deal for us. We wont be back.

We love this quaint inconspicuous gem in downtown McLean. They have a generous selection of Japanese dishes, our favorite sushi, and we are always greeted warmly by their friendly staff. You must try the Baltimore roll.

You might not expect much from a sushi restaurant in a strip mall, but I've been going here for years and the sushi has been consistently very good. Is it fancy? No. Is it the best sushi I've ever had? Definitely not. But, it is fresh, the spicy scallop roll is the best I've had in any restaurant, and it is dependable. That coupled with the extremely friendly staff who fill your green tea every time it goes down by about 3 inches makes it a very pleasant experience. The prices are also very reasonable.

Good selection of typical sushi but also unique items. Ichiban is not resting on it's laurels though; I see something new every time I visit. Try their calamari salad.

Delicious sushi + wonderful service = great meal! Sushi is buttery good and fresh. Love the special rolls, especially the Utah roll. The tuna and jalapeno means you won't need wasabi. The calamari salad and scallop hand rolls are a special treat if you can find room in your belly. Service was attentive and fast! We walked out happy and full.

This is the best sushi restaurant in McLean, and one of the best in WDC. The sushi quality is absolutely fantastic and the staff super friendly. The only thing I can say its that the place is so popular and with limited sitting its sometimes hard to find a table.

Best sushi in the greater Washington metropolitan area. Always fresh, staff always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Don't get fooled by its appearance as a hole in the wall restaurant, they consistently exceed expectations.
