My boyfriend came to live in DC for the summer for an internship and he brought me here one day. I had the pleasure of coming many times when I visited and shared some awesome food, drinks, laughs, and some great experiences.

They have outdoor seating and indoor but during the summer nights it was great to be outside and enjoy the nice breeze with some great sushi. The staff was attentive to our wants and very accommodating as friends added on to our table. The food is fantastic and I really enjoyed many of their special rolls.

This place is really great and when I come back to DC I will make sure to make a stop here for another great night!

Servers were friendly and helpful and food was very good. Ebi ten roll was amazing! Salmon and tuna nigiris were fresh and very delicious too!

We've been Zen Bistro fans since they opened. First as singlesfor the last 6 years as us. We didn't meet here but we gravitated back as as a couple. Great food, fantastic service, Jessica makes sure your experience is top knotch. The outdoor seating rates in the top ten in the DMV.

It was okay I ordered ramen here and I wasn't very good. Felt a little rushed to order and food seemed a bit overpriced.
The sushi was really good though, and the plated presentation of it was really well put together.

Meh. Just okay. For being this close to dc, I expected better. Overcooked edamame and just okay sushi. If this were somewhere else, it would get 3 stars.

Great sushi, great appetizers. The staff is awesome and extremely friendly. Part of the appeal is going to visit Jessica and Mimi while enjoying great food and drinks. Outdoor patio is perfect for late afternoon spring and summer relaxing with drinks and food.
