It was a nice way to spend a summer day. We didn't do much of anything but swim in the creek. There is restrooms here and quite a few people. More in the summer than winter. Good for families. Just be very careful around & in the water, the rocks can be very slippery.

There is an area where you can play in shallow flowing water. In certain spots there are pool where it is 4 to 5 feet deep. There is also an area where you can picnic, play basketball, and play on a playground.

I was here for a family reunion. We used the pavilion adjacent to the restrooms. The facilities were clean. Me and my nephews enjoyed exploring the park and wading through the lower portion of the shoals.

Plenty of good summer memories as a child at this place. I don't get to go as often as I'd like as an adult these days but I do make sure to enjoy it when I can. Great place to picnic - nice and quiet with the rushing water nearby. Makes for a relaxing and fun day.

My family loves to picnic there and the shoals are very calming. It is a small park but a great place to spend time with the family/friends. The historical village and covered bridge is awesome and great for pics. They have play grounds for children and a miniature golf course. Whether your by yourself or with family/friends go by and enjoy the fun, beauty and history of the park!

A hidden Gem - Locals know it now it is time to share with everyone. I have lived in the area for over 10 years and finally made my way to this park. It is very peaceful and scenic. Great place to take the family whether you live close by or are just passing through

A really fun place to hang out. The Civil War reenactment they host each year is Loads of fun to watch, and participate in.

This is a nice Park with lots of things to do. Swimming, hiking with great picnic tables and sites. The parking is kinda squirrelly, but there is a good amount of it.
