Great place to take the kids to play and see animals that "live in our back yard". And sneak in a little workout awhile they play. I love this park.

A beautiful park with many activities. Hiking, a dog park, playground, and even a zoo featuring local animals. The reptile house is still my favorite exhibit.

I love the dog park and the free zoo. They do need to do a better job about all of the unfixed dogs in the dog park, but it is still a great place for dogs of all sizes.

Small park in terms of land and available trails, but well-maintained. The lake has a couple of fountains and there are ducks and turtles always to be spotted. The path around the lake is clear and easy to walk on. There is a wide and sturdy bridge that crosses the lake that is safe and accessible. There is a nice playground area with restrooms nearby, covered patios, grills, and machines from which to buy duck/fish feed. Lots of shaded area provided by pine trees.
