This is a to-do hospital. Your kids are not allowed to be in the room when you deliver even with supervision. I was missed because I think it's a personal choice and I didn't have it at this hospital. They took forever to give me my IV so I was cheated out of having my epidural because my nurse sucked at finding a good vein. There for I had to deliver natural. I would just say look for other options 😑

They are very slow to treat but quick to get you registered so they can bill you even though you haven't even been seen yet. They are a disgrace to the medical field and should find another business to get into. If you are not bleeding or dying you can count on being there for at least 6 hours.

People have been waiting here for 5 hours or more and still havent been called back. This hospital is the worst hospital ive been too!!!!!!

Was in a car accident. Complaints of neck and back pain. Had me give a urine sample as soon as I checked in. Prob to make sure I wasn't seeking drugs.didn't do X-rays or anything, just sent me home, gave me a naproxen in the hospital. I am appalled by how the doctor handled my injuries.

I took my one year old daughter to Hurley Medical Center in Flint the morning of January 8, 2017. My daughter had been sick for a while, but it was just getting worse every day. She ended up getting pink eye in both eyes, a bad cough etc. They were not busy AT ALL, and they got us rite in. They did no testing on her, they just checked her vitals, and looked at her eyes. They told me she has a viral infection and pink eye, so they sent me home with a prescription for an eye ointment but no antibiotics. Later that night I noticed blood coming from her eyes, so I said "screw it, I'm taking her to Henry Ford Clinton Twp.". When we got there it was PACKED, we were in the hall way with 5 other people, but they still did proper testing on my baby. They found that she had pneumonia, very bad pink eye, a fever, and a bacteria in her blood. They told me that they want to keep her in the hospital and start an IV. She needed a very strong antibiotic. It turned out that the blood in her eyes were the least of their worries, but that's why I took her in. If I wouldn't have, and went by what Hurley said, my daughter could have died. If you go to Hurley Medical Center, please make sure they do proper testing because it could have been fatal for my daughter.

Third shift staff in particular was more than HORRIBLE. One nurse in particular, Lura was the worst. Brought my daughter in for stomach pains and vomiting. This nurse administered meds.never came back to check on the patient afterwards to see if she had a reaction or see if they were working or went down well or anything for that matter. She absolutely disappeared during her shift. I had to look for her in order to get her to do anything. When she did come around she was rude and tried to debate or over talk me in conversation. She left my daughter and myself in that room all night while she did nothing but hide out. My daughter produced a urine sample. we waited and hour or more for her to pop up, which she never did. I actually had to go find her and then she tried to brush me off to make me wait longer. She wouldn't even do a simple urine dip.Mind you the urine had sat there for an hour already. She was rude and didn't listen to a word I was telling her, which made her answer incorrectly and inappropriately whenever we'd have to communicate. It got so bad I told her to leave. She wasn't allowed back in my daughters room. She does not communicate well at all to say the least. I often wonder why the people with thee worst people skills go into fields of study that require they deal with the public. Hurley's third shift ER is a joke. I never thought I'd say that about this hospital, but things have changed, the people have changed, and so has the level of personal care and not for the better. THE TWO FIRST SHIFT NURSES WERE AMAZING!!! Overall, Hurley's board of directors needs to take a closers look at the people representing their hospital..

Very shocked and disappointed with the rude behavior of the staff. I could not believe how unprofessional they treated me.
