I am a brand new patient and felt very welcomed by every single person I came into contact with during my visit. From beginning to end, it was an enjoyable experience. Staff was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. Cheryl did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, and even got coffee stains off my teeth that have been bothering me for quite some time. I’m not embarrassed to smile at anyone now. I highly recommend this group.

My family and I just moved to the area and found Hughes Dental. We had our first cleanings and check ups this week. We were very impressed with the service. The staff is kind and efficient. Dr. Acosta was great. One of our sons struggles with anxiety and was treated so kind he came out very happy and is not nervous at all about his next appointment for a filling.

I am so happy with my experience at Hughes Dental/Southwest Dental Center. Kristin, the dental assistant, is the best of the best. Not only did she go above and beyond to schedule appointments that fit my schedule, but she was so kind and caring at each appointment. She was able to answer all my questions, checked in often, and made me feel comfortable during the entire experience. Kristin is extremely knowledgeable and great at what she does!

I’m always nervous when I go to the dentist, but my visit at Hughes Dental in Leo was one of the best experiences I’ve had in recent years. This isn’t something I say easily! I had the same dentist for years until he retired. Since then, I’ve seen a couple of dentists and I continued to ask and shop around. Today was the ultimate test! My tooth chipped and it needed a crown. I have a couple of them so I know what to expect. This was my best experience by far. I had no pain, and more importantly, I felt confident in the knowledge and experience of those who treated me!

Thank you Dr. Acosta, Kristin, and Danielle! My my mouth is not at all sore!!! I have no painjust a little irritation around the gum. I am confident I can go to work and perform my duties!

I love, love, love Hughes Dental Group!! First let me say the entire staff is absolutely amazing!! Kristin noticed how much anxiety I had at my first appointment for my fillings and she made Dr. Acosta aware when she came in. Dr. Acosta was so pleasant and allowed me to reschedule. She told me she wanted me to have a good experience. My second visit was even better and they did such a fantastic job but more importantly they didn't brush aside my anxiety but helped me to embrace it and move past it so that I can take proper care of my mouth. Dr. Acosta is a magician cause I didn't even feel her numb my mouth!! Kristin was so sweet and caring and I am grateful for how she kept justifying my fear and checked on how I was handling each step of the procedure! She is an absolute gem!! I also have to say that Cheryl who did my initial teeth cleaning was wonderful!! If you have a fear of the dentist please go to Hughes Dental Group cause they found absolute angels to care for your teeth!! Thank you all so very much!!

The staff is very friendly and they do a good job making the clients comfortable. However, months ago I had gone for a couple fillings and was not happy when I left. They did not fill in one of my teeth completely and I could immediately feel a small hole in the filling. The tooth is now very sensitive to cold and I try not to chew on that side of my mouth because sometimes I will get a shooting pain if any food gets into the small hole. They also shaved between two of my teeth and now whenever I floss those teeth, the floss catches and gets ripped up because the sides of the teeth are jagged. I have attached a picture of the tooth with a hole left in the filling. The picture was taken the same day as the filling.

Many dentists will tell you that they are pain free or that they cater to cowards. That they have superior service compared to the other guy. Well let’s face it there is no such thing as pain free dentistry. But this is as close as it gets! I have been a client of Hughes Dental Group for over 10 Years now and I have received nothing but honest and superior service. The staff is caring and professional they are without a doubt the best at what they do. You will not find a better Staff in the Fort Wayne area.

This dentist office is awesome. The staff took extremely good care of my grandson today. Stacy did a wonderful job of explaining to him what she was going to do while cleaning his teeth. Dr. Hughes is a really good dentist and shows respect to his patients.
