Howard tunnel is a Scenic location in the middle of the seven valleys portion of the Heritage rail trail. You can climb to the top easily from one side for some wonderful photo opportunities. It is a very nice addition to the middle of the abandoned Railway system.

I love the walk from Seven Valleys to the tunnel y back. Approximately 6 miles round-trip y you feel excellent after!

One of the most popular things to see on the Rail Trail. Able to ride, walk, or run through. Pretty neat to go check out whether first time or tenth. About a 2 mile walk from Glatfelters Station parking lot.

Great trail goes under the tunnel. Trail runs from MD to York PA. Mostly flat so very easy biking

Pretty neat tunnel! One of the exciting features along the Heritage Rail Trail. It's only a two mile walk from Brillhart Station parking lot.
