Great deal. Paid a lot less than we would have at other hotels in the area and got a clean, quiet room. Staff is very friendly and there are cookies in the lobby. No complaints.

It is soooo excellent here!! I love it! The server here is so friendly and talkative, making travelers, like me and my boyfriend, feel warm!:)
The most important point I love here is its big room with cheaper price! If you wanna visit Carmel and 17 miles, you don’t have much budget for accommodation. You totally can choose here! Free WiFi and parking lot, free breakfast and big space of room, all are so good! Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel and a very nice welcoming in the reception. Everything was just great! Breakfast was not much, but as expected within the name of Continental Breakfast.

Very comfortable stay. Breakfast is adequate with variety to choose from. The nonsmoking king room we stayed in was very spacious, clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Beautiful place and very friendly staff! For the price you are getting a very nice, clean, cute room! Wasn't sure what to expect as I'd been staying in $75-$119 rooms along the coast and Hollywood. This is by far the best room we encountered along the way for a GREAT VALUE!

I have been staying here for work on and off for 1 1/2 years. Great place, rooms are clean, and quiet. Get a good restful sleep. Complementary breakfast 6:30 to 9:30 am. I highly recommend.

Absolutely loved it. The staff made you feel more welcome than any place I have ever stayed at any price range. Rooms were extremely clean and newly updated. Great breakfast, the organic berries and baby bel cheeses were a great touch. They really pay attention to the small details. Was treated to soft and delicious chocolate chip cookies and cold water at 10pm. Definitely recommend.

Sarah at the reception is amazingly friendly. Large, clean room with a huge bed. The breakfast was better than expected. I would most definitely come back again!

My stay was quite peaceful and their professional staff was outstanding. The location is great for getting to Monterey and I found some excellent local take out places. The breakfast was fair and amenities superior given the price. The water pressure was a bit low, but I have yet to stay at any location in Monterey, Marina, or Pacific Grove where that is not the case. We did have one major issue with our first room: some ants came in with the morning fog. They wandered aimlessly because there was no spilled food to forage for. Normally this it's a deal breaker, but they were quick to provide a solution. The professional way they handled the problem, treating it as a crisis and getting us a new room almost immediately (they were completely booked judging by the parking lot so there was an hour or two delay before the new room was available). I appreciated that the office staff phoned in with updates (calling to tell me it was vacated, again when it was being cleaned and finally when it was ready). Given the professionalism displayed by the morning staff I will stay here again.
