When we showed up, they didnt even have our reservation and had to repeatedly show them our confrontation email and it still took them 40 minutes to figure it out.then when we FINALLY get to our room, the toilet was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't shut. They did nothing to fix the problem. This place is litteraly a trailer park. We had to get a refund and find another hotel. These plans were made almost a month in advance. This was our anniversary get a way, completely ruined by this place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
The front door of our cottage needs a bottom stripbecause bugs come inthey need to renovate and update the roomsnice old cottage feelnot sure if they have a.c. hereused the fan they provided
The cottage we got (The Ghost Tree) was adorable. The bed was huge and super comfortable, and we were provided with everything we needed. Check in and out was very easy, and the staff was very helpful.
Bad WiFi and no T-Mobile data connection. For everything else it was perfect with a nice price. We slept close to the entrance and were able to make use of the little garden with BBQ in front of our cottage!
Really neat little place in a lovely area. I got a great deal and thought it was very worth the price. Definitely central to Carmel, and though I can understand why others might think it is a bit dated, I found it very comfortable and cute. It's not a four-star resort, but a unique and charming historical setting. The bed was very comfy and parking was easy. Definitely coming back.
Nice location, decent price ( in comparison to hotels in Carmel) needs a little updating. But friendly and accommodative staff. Also has a nice atmosphere to it. Would definitely stay again in the future.
