Location was convenient and close to the Asilomar conference grounds. Adequate amenities and our room even had a small glimpse of the ocean.

I made arrangements months in advance to have my wedding guest stay here for a discounted price. Guest to my wedding booked reservations. With several weeks even months in advance. When they arrived some reservations were lost others the price was hiked up. Very dishonest and unethical. Very disappointed that my guest had to find last-minute accommodations. Never will i stay here. Instead Minterey Peninsula Inn down the street another hotel i arranged for my guest, was amazing. Very helpful and the honored their discounted group rate for my family and friends.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. People working there were polite. My only complaint is that I wish they would have drinking water in the rooms as opposed to a jug at the reception.

We need an extra bed the first night of our two night stay. They accommodated us with two queens the first night and had a king ready for us by 9 the next morning! We were very impressed with the service.

First location: nice and away from tourist traffic, partial ocean view. Not perfect but decent. Room: good not great but for price I won't complain. Service: very good. Fast check in and really polite, ready to please (that's the 4th star). Overall you could do worse and, again, for the price it stands out. Vest compliment I can give for someone who travels there often: I'll stay there again.

Seemed like a good place, but then there was a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor.

Pretty good location, can get to the city centre or coast line pretty quickly.

Hotel is older but we'll maintained and clean. Located in a very quiet neighborhood a 10 minute walk from downtown Pacific Grove. Good value

Room was ok (carpet was so high it kept door from opening except if you push very hard) breakfast very underwhelming (waffles and store bought pastries with a broken coffee machine), would not have stayed except for the price.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Staff is incredibly rude. Checked us into an UNACCEPTABLE room and they refused to move us. Glass table was shattered. Couch was torn up (as in fabric completely torn off of it)! Furniture was banged up. They completely acted as if they didn't see any of it!!! I would not have spent $50 to stay here let alone the $165 that I actually spent. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! Breakfast was a joke. Coffee/hot chocolate machine was broken. Looks nice from outside, but everything is run down inside! Beds are awful! Was extremely worried about ending up with bedbugs! Never seen such carelessness in a hotel and its staff!!!

It appears they are trying to make this old hotel better but they are not there yet. They advertise feather beds but what they had was very old inner spring mattresses. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything. With no air conditioning you have to keep some windows open. There was a ton of road noise. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. The food was old and as minimalistic as you can get. Definitely would not recommend or stay here again.

This is a basic room with just the necessities. The price was right. The location was good. 15 minute walk to the ocean and a 20 minute walk to great food. Both of the walks were beautiful. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. Also, it would be a great place to bring a kid. There is a queen size bed and a twin in the corner. Fridge, coffee maker, microwave and cable.
