This is the worst hospital I have ever been to and never phanthom of experience the worst customer care/ assistance from this hospital staff. My 1yr old needed to be seen immediately. The staff members had no clue on what they were doing and are extremely rude. Other people where also in the waiting room with kids for hours before and after us and there where *no rooms available* quoted by one of the staff. Me and my family stayed at the hospital from 10:30pm-4:00am and still was not seen by anyone. PLEASE AVOID THIS FROM HAPPENING TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.
And must I say that my little one and I have valid insurance So no excuse! This is so unacceptable and I'm a firm believer that this hospital should be reported for the lack of abandoning ill and injured patients and a poor example of the expectation that a hospital should have and be ran properly..
Just a concerned mother about my little one and others with kids (loved ones) as well.
~Blessings To You All~
I wish I would have read the reviews before going! Do NOT go there. I’m still in pain - the man who saw me, I’m not even sure he’s a doctor, came in and was so unprofessional with giving me my results as if my pain wasn’t important and what I’m feeling was all in my head- hope I don’t die today
The staff was so helpful and super sweet! I felt like I was in good hands.
Let me just say that this hospital is the worst I've ever had the misfortune of being in, and that includes several military, VA, and civilian facilities. I had an infection that would not respond to medications, but because of my history and because I have VA, they refused to do anything unless I signed a waiver releasing them from all liability, BUT doctor was not willing to tell me this only stall me. I had to hear it from a PA who was sympathetic to my problem because the doctor kept wanting to just send me home. I eventually had to set an appointment with the VA, which eventually helped the problem, but in the meantime, my condition worsened due to their refusal to take steps to address the problem without a waiver. As a result of their refusal to treat, my condition worsened in the interim and has yet to fully recover six months later. Attitudes are terrible among many staff-workers, especially among nurses, and especially if you have any weight-related or diabetes-related problems. Doctors are lacking. About one in five visits has positive outcome and interactions with staff. If you can go anywhere else in the world, you should.
Watch out for billing, too. They have no problems going straight to collections, although the VA has paid them, double billing you for something already paid, and ruining your credit in the bargain. Once again, this last visit, VA paid on my bill, hospital sent me paperwork confirming this, yet their collections are still harassing me to pay the remaining balance, even though accepting payment from the VA means accepting payment in full. Watch out for this tactic. Hospital billing departments are notorious for "creative" financing, but don't be deceived. This one is particularly bad.
UPDATE: 8 Months After I Posted the Above
So how are my foot concerns today? Untreated infection in toes led to cellulitis in toes, which led to cellulitis throughout both feet. I've yet to recover. Thank you Houston Medical Center for not doing all you could or should have done.
I waited in waiting room for an hour and a half while staff members just sit at Front desk looking like they have no idea what to do. Then I finally get in room and my tooth is killing me. They can't prescribe any pain meds. The rn said it only masks the problem. I explained that why I needed it. I have a dentist appointment Tuesday. So I basically should have just stayed in bed with my ice pack. I will not be back here ever again. I'll go to Perry.
Had my daughter here. The nesting opportunity was so kind and thoughtful after our baby was placed in NICU. NICU nurses were all incredible.
This hospital and other facilities of Houston Healthcare are horrible. The hospital ER rooms are dirty and their staff is aware of this yet they do nothing because they are too "busy" to take care of the issue. I myself have been treated here, as well as other family members, and each time the experience was the same. Long hours of waiting to be seen in the waiting room only to get into a room and wait even longer, dirty rooms, terrible staff, and uncaring individuals. It is not just the hospital itself that is bad, the buisness office is terrible. Trying to check and resolve your bill is next to impossible. You can never speak to a manager because one is not available, and the representatives just rush you off the phone saying they can call you back when they know something! Dont hold your breath for that call back either! All in all this is a VERY POORLY RUN HOSPITAL!! BE CAUTIOUS WHEN TREATED THERE.
Had my son here over three years ago. Best and first time experience I ever had. I loved the nurses and I love my obgyn at the physicams for women office.
I had to go the ER twice in one week because of very bad breathing problems. ER physicians failed to diagnose the problem twice They just dope you up, send you home. I could have died.
A physician in Warner Robins (not on the hospital staff) diagnosed my problem correctly. He save my life.
What a craphole. Their motto, make decent people pay for worthless scum who won't pay. Some texting idiot crashed into my car, I went to the er for treatment (a horrible experience in itself) and now a few months later I get a letter telling me about a hospital lien. Really? Insurance paid these clowns but they are insisting on more money to cover their annual loses which are no fault of mine. They did nothing at all, I went in and waited 3 hrs for some idiot nurse practitioner to come back and generously give me 4 min of his time. I then waited an hr before stepping out and asking wtf is going on. They got off their lazy asses and gave me some paperwork and I left.
If you go to the er, prepare to have dumbos with a common cold get taken back before you, even if you have a possible spinal injury.
Horrible horrible horrible. Drive to Macon, you'll be better off. Better yet, go see a shaman, you will prob have better treatment.

A family member was recently in this facility and one of the rooms they had them in was filthy. The floor had stains all over it (even the PCT mentioned it and asked if the cleaning people had come in). The table on wheels (what the patients eat from) was filthy with old patients spills. The toilet in the room was horrendous. It has dried urine and what I assume was dried feces on the inner rim and dried urine on the seat. The staff was mostly nice but not really attentive in some instances. Several times we called nurses station to wait for over an hour for several things. Really disappointed with this latest interaction with Houston Medical Center / Healthcare.
I have lived in Warner Robins for 14 years. I have always received excellent care from the staff, doctors and nurses at Houston Medical! I love you guys!!
Both my daughters were born here and we had a great experience both times. Highly recommend Dr. Nguyen for an OB. They should pay their nurses more here. They deserve it.
