It’s fairly easy to get an appointment and the office visits are Ok. The providers all seem to be ok. However the rest of this practice’s patient experience is abysmal. It’s incredibly difficult to talk with anyone in the office about refills, billing, or to obtain nurse-level advice. No one answers the phone except to make appointments. They direct you to communicate through the patient portal but they never respond there either. They need a major investment in operations. I am changing practices.
Very good service people at the front desk found my lost card, and my doctors were very nice. There was old man who was a doctor who didn't seem too friendly but i understand, its the morning and sometimes people are grumpy lol, but for the most part great service.
I recently visited the office personally to obtain copy of recent lab results as no one was responding to the calls. The front desk person directed me to another person. The second person seems to be incharge of their new portal "Follow My Health" and asked me to set up access so that I can get all the records from the cloud. At first I was not interested as their earlier portal was useless as it contained just patient name and contact name. She convinced me that all the info is on the new portal and easy to obtain everything very easily. She then sent me link to set up account. After I set up new account I see zero information. All that I found was my name. No information about previous visits or recent lab results. I might seriously consider switching this provider as 4 of our family members use this facility. I gave one star just post my comment or else I would have given zero stars. Hope Hospital Management will soon realize and correct this
By far, the best doctor and staff around. My wife and I both come here and have found our home doctors in this office. Fatima is my favorite nurse and Dr. Ganjam is the best! Fatima is extremely personable and likeable, making my visit more enjoyable. I really enjoy her personality. I have been to other doctors but no one can compare to Dr. Ganjam. I am very grateful for him and his staff.
This place is horrible. They sent 9000 bills to my house when my dad went in for his diabetes appointment. They charged him for ridiculous amounts that he did not even attend. My girlfriend went there because she felt sick and thought she had zika because she went on a cruise to South America. The PA did not even know what zika was and said "let me look it up on the CDC website". She did not stop there. She said that "it looks like ALL of Mexico seems to be affected and I don't think there is a way to test it". This just goes to show how absurd these appointments are when they don't know basic information about common diseases. She instead said "oh you are so lucky that you got to go South America. I will just live vicariously through you". If you want good service with people who actually KNOW what they are doing then do NOT go to NAPC.
Awful experience almost every time I go. The front desk people are maybe the only good thing about this doctor's office. It's incredibly difficult to get anyone to respond to me in a timely manner if I have a question. I have run out of my medicine multiple times and been in dangerous situations because they forget to send in my prescription after I visit for a refill. This office was much better before it got so large. I have been forgotten while waiting on my doctor. I have waited 2 hours before before someone realized that my doctor forgot to stop by my room. I am beyond sick of this practice and have been meaning to write this review for years.
The deserve a zero rating. I visited the clinic after finding their contact information in my health providers directory for in network providers for my program. During the visit they had me see a doctor who was out of network and after that demanded payment as the insurance would not cover the charges. In trying to resolve the issue, they were largely unresponsive and completely unhelpful. It is best to stir away.
I would not recommend visiting this clinic from my own experience with how they handled a billing issue not of my own making. I feel cheated, lied to, and seriously question their ethics.
I went in for a routine physical and was asked on the intake forms about any prescriptions I take. I do take one prescription that I get written through another doctor, so I wrote it down. During my exam, I get asked about the prescription, and the doctor goes into an explanation about the potential side effects, which I already indicated I knew and didn't have any questions about. The doctor insisted on writing me a refill of this prescription (weird?), which I said was not necessary as again, I go through another specialist for this.
A month later I get a bill from the clinic and was told "the doctor provided me professional medical advice and wrote me a prescription at my request". What? Calling the clinic and explaining the situation apparently falls on deaf ears as anything that happens is "patient's responsibility". No more explanation was given and the billing department's hands are tied. If they can't do anything, who can?
They won't be seeing me again, nor will I ever recommend this place, which is the best I can do as a consumer.
I haven't had anything but prompt and professional service here. Really like my physician and thorough work. Easy to make an appointment. Just a little difficult to find in the building of the hospital!
I can't begin to describe how much I enjoy going to North Atlanta Primary Care. I live in the city but drive out to Alpharetta just to make sure I can keep going. I have developed an excellent relationship both with my primary care doctor - Dr. Ganjam Satishkumar - and also his Nurse Practitioner, Fatima. They are very familiar with my history and health, and I have never had any issues or complaints. Always a very solid experience overall. My only small complaint would be that the waiting times in the lobby can sometimes be about 20 minutes, but their office is usually quite busy so I think it's understandable. The level of comfort and service far outweighs the additional 20 minutes needed to see the Dr. Ganjam and Fatima, but I wanted to let other reviewers know, in case you are on a tight schedule and need to plan a little extra time. I'd give the office, and specifically my providers, a full recommendation.
Edit: Lastly, the office has an excellent online portal - which they just upgraded! - where each patient can schedule appointments, communicate with their physician, see medical history, and take care of a lot of other tasks.
I have been visiting this practice for past 10 years. Except for occasional long wait times the service has been excellent. Nurse Fatima and Dr. Ganjam are professional and courteous and are willing to spend the extra time to listen to and address all concerns.
Our entire family have been patients of Dr. Ganjam for years. He takes his time to understand our concerns/health issues and we are always pleased after the visit. Nurse Fatima is wonderful and makes us feel like part of the family.
I am been visiting this place for over 3yrs and each and every time the experience has been awesome. No more than 10min wait, the nurse Fatima is awesome to talk to, gives me the good news each time after checking my Vitals that I am alive :)
Dr. Gangam is my favorite. He is very articulate, explains the situation, symptoms and side effects very well and over and above all wants to ensure I stay in good health. He is the reason I come to this place.
I highly recommend NAPC.
Even though I made an appointment at 10:15 I did not get back to the Dr. until 11:04. This is after I watch walk in continuously go past me and other patients who have made appointments and came in after me.
Went to ask twice if they just forgot about me. After I got out of another hour had passed and no one was in the waiting room. So I got out at 12:03 .
All I can say is I don't find that they are very good at keeping appointment times and be prepared to wait a long time. The atmosphere there is great inside the waiting room. Believe me I should know! LOL!
