I work here. I’ve witnessed doctors, nurses, and all ER staff treating the patient as their main priority. Seeing the “inside” of what goes on in the ER…I will make sure my loved ones go to Wellstar North Fulton.

My Mom had a 3 day stay and the care was excellent. Staff was very attentive and passionate. After a grueling 18 months of COVID I was expecting burn out but NO these folks are surely the heroes we have heard they are!!

The Wellstar North Fulton birth location for Labor and Delivery is outstanding! We are treated by Nile Women’s Health Care and Wellstar staff; and, have been able to have 3 successful deliveries here so far. We are about that to have our 4th Bless successful delivery ; and, are claiming a healthy labor in Jesus Christ name! My Husband , I ; and, our family are thrilled to welcome another baby with Nile Women’s Health Care and Wellstar North Fulton. North Fulton is a former Tenet facility. Can we give more stars on this review???

Let’s just say the rating shown here should not be….
I did a water-birth here last week 9/29 and my experience was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Doing a all natural birth is no where near easy but doing it here made it wonderful.
I had a Nurse by the name of Susan and she was the BEST EVER during my active labor in the water. Along side my Midwife from Nile Women’s Health. Words can’t express how amazing Susan was! She deserves a trophy for real! You can tell she truly loves what she does!
Even the virtual water birth class teacher was the bomb. The Manager came into my room to check in on me and my experience here. But that’s not it! I had two other Nurses after the birthing process by the name of Kathy and Caryn. Very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had all that I needed plus so much more.
These ladies gave excellent service during my stay here and it was unforgettable.
They even call after you’re discharged to follow up! Listen, these people care! And it’s genuine! I would recommend this Hospital to everyone in Atlanta!
This was my first time here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I was to have another baby.
This hospital did a fine job! Everything was very clean and comfortable as well. Fantastic experience!! I thank each and everyone of you that helped me make my birthing experience so unforgettable!!response / report this review -

I was admitted for a few weeks after a serious sickness and I can’t speak highly enough about this hospital. From the moment I checked in the triage nurse was so nice, my ER nurses were funny and kind and attentive and even the doctor was nice and actually acted like he cared. Once I was admitted upstairs they had very specialty known to man live d come see me. I felt heard, safe and cared for. The nurses upstairs were hands down the nicest people I’ve ever met. I know it sounds like BS but they’re amazing.

We were forgotten about in the emergency room. After 2 hours we told them we were leaving and they apologized and said don’t worry about anything. Two months later I get a bill. We got abused two by Wellstar. Do not go to this hospital if you are sick.

Yesterday morning I visited my primary physician's office because I'd been feeling sick and running a fever. My doc was not in, so her secretary told me to have X-rays at the emergency room, specifically North Fulton. I arrived there at about 8:30 A.M. And received excellent service. I met with their doc and he ordered the X-ray, which was promptly done. Next I was told that I had pneumonia and needed to be admitted. Then nothing! I was hooked up to I.V. antibiotics and more or less ignored. Nurses came to draw blood periodically. My vitals were taken periodically. None of my usual meds were given. By 4:00 P.M., I was still on the E.R. gurney, which is very uncomfortable. I kept requesting my pain meds to no avail. I got no water or food and for some reason, my room was still not available. I began to feel that a room would never be ready for me, so I said I wanted to leave. Then I was seen by administrators, several doctors, all begging me to stay, that my room was ready. I called my husband to pick me up and I left. No one helped me out, even though I was dizzy and weak, having trouble walking.
I felt totally ignored while in the North Fulton E.R. They seemed way too busy to make me in the least comfortable. As a chronic pain sufferer, I needed better care. I felt that no water or food for 7 and a half hours was unacceptable. My advice.if you are in pain, stay away from N. Fulton E.R.response / report this review -

Do not go to this hospital to give birth. The people who work in labor and delivery can and will be abusive in addition to just rude. They will also charge you $10,000+ minimum to go there no matter what kind of care you need, and to top it all off, the food is inedible.

My grandmother had a mini stroke and was transported via ambulance to North Fulton/Wellstar in April this year. The ambulance driver had to tape my grandmother's wedding set to her finger because her hand was too swollen to remove the set. By the time my grandmother was admitted to a room, her ring had been cut off and stolen. We filed a police report and sent a letter to Wellstar Corp. We finally heard from the hospital. They say we signed a claim releasing them from responsibility of all personal belongings. No phone call, no apology, nothing! I can't even say the stay was pleasant because, it wasn't.

I LOVE this hospital. I have had asthma and yesterday i went in around 11:00 a.m and i saw Dr. Lipscomb and he was so nice and got me a steroid shot and two breathing treatments . So i felt better then went home and it ended up flaring AGAIN! so i went back and saw Dr. Womack and he too was AMAZING! I even saw Dr. Lipscomb in passing and he was concerned about me STILL hours later and i just appreciate that so much cause when you're not feeling well the last thing you want is to feel like a nuisance.

Before the bad, on a positive note the nurses here are wonderful, I wish the Dr had been more like the nurses! Horrible ER. The Doctor I saw had horrible bedside manner, seemed annoyed and in a hurry, made me feel as though I were being a nuisance for being present in his ER. He rapid-fired questions at me so fast that I had no time to think about my answers, and he gave me no time to ask any questions at all before he ran out of the room. Waited a while then all of a sudden the nurse comes in saying "The doctor discharged you, you can go home now". She must have seen the confused look on my face, because once she asked me if the Dr had ever come back to speak to me (NO, he never came back), she actually went to find him and she made him come back. He only said another 2 sentences to me, I still have no idea what happened to me and just assume I am ok as he never offered me any diagnosis or info as to what happened. He never would have come to speak to me at all if the nurse hadnt been kind enough to make him

I did 3 different tours but once I toured this hospitals maternity wing I knew I had found where I wanted to be. They were very nice and had practices that I liked. Their rooms were also nice. They had a lot of options vs where I had my 1st daughter 6 years prior. For those wanting a water birth they have that option as long as you take the class they offer. I wasn't under the car of a doc since 28 weeks pregnant (that's another review) so I couldn't take the class even if I wanted too. They also have dimming lights and individually controlled a/c for each room. They also do not have a lot of rooms which is nice. The staff is amazing. With my first daughter if I needed something they were rude and I had to everything myself including changing sheets. North Fulton was amazing and attentive. They were quite and knew to make as few trips as possible to allow for rest. All the staff was nice. The food was horrible but you can have stuff brought in if you have family or friends available to do so. They are super secure too. Each entrance has a keypad to where you have to talk to the desk to be let in after giving required info. There was no one coming or going without them knowing. Highly recommend them if you are having a baby. Pair them with Nile Women's Healthcare and you are set!

If I reviewed on communication skills alone, they would get no stars! The nursing staff was very kind and helpful but my father who has advanced dementia was there for over three weeks including a stay in rehab and they couldn't seem to understand that he was not capable of making decisions about his care and was not able to give consent for procedures. The medical Power of Attorney was on file from the second day (I was with him the entire first 24 hours) and they would still ask him questions and ask him to sign forms even to the point of him being scheduled for surgery and no doctor had contacted me at all! I didn't even know he needed surgery! That continued when he got to rehab. We were told we would have meetings with his case manager in rehab every week to go over his progress and have help with decisions on his care. We had ONE meeting with the therapists and case manger on the day before he was discharged! Most frustrating experience ever!

Horrific experience! The phrase "Go to St. Joseph's, or I will take you to North Fulton" definitely holds true. Basically, either go willingly and help yourself, or I will drag you to the worst hospital I know.
Earlier today my grandmother was brought in for a newly found blood clot. The first nurse HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. The worst was when my grandmother was told to "stop taking Plavix." Great adviceIF SHE HAD BEEN ON PLAVIX.
The second nurse came in and gave my mother attitude (without even asking what was going on) when she saw my grandmother eating a candy bar. Yes. She is diabetic, this was one of the few vending machine options and it was two hours past her mealtime. In an effort to avoid any further shocks to the system (and due to lack of help from any of their staff) she did have a candy bar.
When they did give her a prescription, the first nurse said two pills in the morning, two in the evening. The second nurse said one in the morning, one in the evening. The prescription was written for one in the morning, one in the evening. The discharge papers for two in the morning, two in the evening. WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP MY GRANDMOTHER ALIVE FROM TWO BLOOD CLOTS AND NOBODY CAN EVEN GET A PRESCRIPTION CORRECT.
On a comfort note, all requests were delayed. A simple pillow or blanket? Of course not. FORTY-FIVE minutes later my 85 year old grandmother finally received it.
Names have been omitted in hopes that someone does contact us. However, based off of today's experience, it is highly doubtful this will happen.response / report this review -

The nursing staff after my surgeries were horrible the lack of care and concern for patients is awful. I have been a patient here to many times and each time the nurses get worse 😡

Do NOT ever take your child here specially for any broken bones. I took my son there for a broken arm and it took several hours for them to tell me they couldn't help him and that I'd have to go to Scottish Rite. They said it was best to call an ambulance but that then took 2.5 hours to arrive. Then I got billed for both physicians and the hospital for "services" even though they didn't help him. No relief for my son but over $750 out of pocket costs for me (and that's AFTER insurance paid their portion).

My review is for the nursing staff on the surgical floor. I've had 2 surgeries on my foot, been here 4 days. They've never cleaned my room, my husband had to give me a sponge bath, they left black bandage and blood all on my arms where bandages we're even after u asked them to clean. Always late on scheduled meds but right on time to wake you up all nite long. For me it was a 0 for service with exception of a 8 for couple of the tech staff. However my husband gets a 10

My mother was recently diagnosed with Gout and when she has a flare up, it is extremely painful for her to the point that she becomes immobile. After a dissastisfactory visit to another hospital in the area, we decided to try North Fulton Hospital and my mom was truly blessed to have such a great team take care of her. I saw the great care and attention that was given; almost as if my mom was their only patient. The hospital even arranged for my mom to undergo physical therapy as a way to help her in walking again before her discharge. All the staff, nurses and doctors went above and beyond. It was a phenomenal experience at North Fulton hospital.

So very disappointed in this hospital ! I did something to my back and could not walk. While the wait was short, the Doctor asked a few questions and just recommended something for pain and Valium .. Which took a long time for the nurse to bring.. My husband had to go look for her. They did not do a cats scan and said they don't do a MRI there.. They suggested the Spine and Pain center next to the hospital.. It's a two week for an appointment.. God Help you if you really do have an emergency .. Don't Go There !!!! It use to be a good hospital ! Not anymore !
