Raspberry Rendezvous, Michigan Pot Hole, & so many more yummy flavors. House of Flavors is a must even if you are just passing through Ludington.
The staff is always friendly and patient. Definitely worth 5 stars.
Best place to eat in Ludington. 50's diner atmosphere is unforgettable. Awesome staff, and don't leave without trying one of the most popular places in Michigan's desert. You'll be glad you didn't pass up a memorable meal with fam or friends.
This place is awesome. Yep I said it. They have good food and a good breakfast spacial. The ice cream is great and is fun. They have a banana split that called the piggy dinner. Have fun and enjoy.
Family favorite. It has changed in the past 20 years, but it is still so delicious. The pumpkin pie ice cream was WONDERFUL! There were chunks of cream and crust and it was a perfect pumpkin blend. We always make a point to stop when were are in Ludington.
This is the best place to eat in Ludington, and always a big highlight of our holiday! House of Flavours has a great kids menu, and well as lots of taste adult meals. My preteen loves the huge taco salad in a tortilla bowl, or the baked potato with toppings. I love the fresh salads as the serving sizes are quite generous. The kids meals include ice cream, which is a huge plus since House of Flavours makes their own ice cream, and it's amazing! They have a great selection of sundaes, and they have a dairy free and a no sugar added flavour. The atmosphere is great too. It has the fun feel of a classic diner, complete with very friendly servers and oldies music, as well as lots of cool memorabilia on display. If you want a fun meal out, you will love House of Flavours!
First time experience was excellent! Food was great and reasonably priced. Our waitress was awesome/cheerful/helpful. Will be returning for sure!
Edit: Returned and ordered the same dish. The portions were smaller, but the prices stayed the same.
Tried the ice cream. The waffle cones were homemade but you better anticipate an ice cream headache - you'll have to eat it fast, or else you'll be watching it drip all over the sidewalk. Maybe just grab a decent amount of extra napkins. Two single scoop waffle cones was $10.
Great place and atmosphere. Very hard to miss driving down the main road, as the line wraps around the business. Account for spending quite a while in line when planning a trip here. House of Flavors uses their own ice cream, offering dozens of flavors. The ice cream itself has great flavor and texture, creating a decadent experience. A comparable ice cream is Blue Bell, which cannot be found in northern states. Also, note that portions here are Texas- sized, and are not for the faint of heart. All in all, a great experience.
The ice cream is amazing but the service was horrible and the food was only so so. We had a bigger group but all the tables around us had not gotten their meals yet either. We were here for almost two total hours. To speed up the process we asked for our ice cream to go but they brought all the ice cream in metal dishes. The turkey Reuben I had was dry and not very flavorful. The best part about it was the coleslaw. Very disappointed in my visit.
Come hungry! The portions are no joke! Good prices, good (but not great) good, and amazing ice cream! This is definitely a must-visit in the LUD.
Food and ice cream was great! As always! We never come to Ludington without stopping here. Our server was awesome and every employee we passed on the way out wished us a wonderful day. So nice!
It's always a good time at House of Flavors. I've been coming here since I was a young child and now I bring my kids. Great food and even better ice cream. The service is great and you'll leave wanting to come back.
Can I live here? Please? This restaurant was so incredible. The food was delicious and the prices were wonderful. I got free fries and a scoop of ice cream with my meal. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the staff was very friendly. I wish I were staying longer, I'd go back again.
