My mom had stayed here about 5 years ago and wanted to go back. Little did she know that owners had changed since then. It was the most TERRIBLE hotel I’ve ever stayed! If only I had double checked the reviews prior to her booking. 😩Like many had posted on other sites, we had to pay with cash and receptionist was rude. We were in room 13. Once I stepped foot in the room, the smell of insect pesticide filled the air. We went down to see if we could get another room. Of course no room available, but were handed some great room spray. 🙄 No way is that smell ever going away. On top of that the pillows and mattresses were stained, mold on every vent, thick dust on all furniture and carpet. Something about this place is just not right. Live and learn! Never again!

Stayed here for our honeymoon. The walls were dirty, the air filter was black and they don’t dust. The tv didn’t work. It took 4minutes (yes. 4 minutes) for the water in the shower to get hot and my husband didn’t even make it thru a 5 minutes shower before the water was cold again. We never did get hot water in the sink. We were told we could check in at 1 and at 4:30 our room still wasn’t ready. the rustic decor was cool, though. It’d be a great hotel if they would clean it and take pride in what they have. Instead, they’ve let it get run down. It’s a shame. We won’t be returning.

Gross. Room wasn't ready until appx 430. Bathroom filthy. Aftraid to touch anything in the room. Found disconnected smoke alarm in bedside drawer. Very noisy all hours. Staff not very friendly. No continental breakfast, just burned coffee. Too tired to change hotels. Thought we could stand it for just one night. Wouldn't recommend.

DO NOT book a room here. The lady at the front desk is so rude and can not even understand what your saying or read an id card. After booking a room on expedia and confirming with the manager about are room. The lady had told us on arrival that we were liars and there was no record of our reservation. She also said we didn't pay but she heard our bank statement say we did and the confirmation email. She still called us liars and She told people to shut up and she only accepted cash. I told her we wanted to cancel and she said we couldn't because they would charge her a fee. I told her she was so rude how she spoke to people and I wasn't staying there. I walked out with my boyfriend and we still were charged $113. For anyone thinking of booking here, go to motel 6 for cheaper and catch an uber for $5. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY NEIGHBOR'S 3RD COUSINS DOG'S PUPPIES.

Our experience was AWFUL! Terrible customer service. When we arrived, our room that we were assigned had a tv that didn't work & a HUGE hole in the wall where the AC window unit was installed. There was a literal cold draft coming through the hole into the room. It appeared to be fixed once before with DUCT TAPE. Professional, right? When we voiced our complaints, we were told it was from all the "drunk" that come in and break stuff.. okay. After enough complaining, we were assigned another room. This room wasn't much better, but it was at least warm. The only good thing i can say is that it's at a good location in regards to the stockyards, and the sheets and towels were clean. We will NOT stay here again.

I booked the hotel a month in advance, so I drove hours to the hotel only to find out they “never got the fax from Priceline” for me to be booked at this location. While I was on the phone talking with Priceline, two people came to the lobby to complain. One complained about the shower not draining, and the other a moment later complaining about a messy room with beer cans still in there from a previous guest. Very disappoint with the staff of this hotel and I never got a room.

Internet very poor if at all. No parking . Rooms smell. Coffee and honey bun is their idea of breakfast.. moved to 2 rooms for TV that worked and it only got one channel. This place is a Joke. .

When I first arrived, I waited for the hotel staff to put her phone down for five minutes; she said she was speaking long distance to India. The old TV did not work and staff did nothing to fix problem, even after requesting help twice. The continental breakfast consisted of individually wrapped Honey Buns that appeared old and a pot of black coffee was brewing. Air conditioner was a window unit and it worked great. Beds were fine. Shower incredibly small. Wifi worked but I had to go back to lobby to get password. Telephone in room did not ring to front desk. When I checked-out, I told the staff again that the tv never worked, and she didn't seem concerned, nor did she offer compensation for the problem.

Hotel is in a great location, but that's all it has going for it. Didn't appear to be updated since the 1970s, very small room, outlets on the walls were loose when you tried to plug something into them, vents were very dirty on the wall and the air conditioner.

Nice hotel, clean and cheap. Perfect location for a night out at the stockyards. Small parking lot, but it worked for us!

The Worthington is a well-maintained, well-located hotel with attractive, clean rooms and a friendly and attentive staff. It is close to a number of excellent restaurants. It has a reasonably well-appointed exercise room (albeit a bit overly air conditioned) and welcoming public spaces.
