They don't like black people.
The rooms are half cleaned.
The housekeeper stole my bluetooth ear piece
When addressed the issue the lady started to loud talk me from being a guilty thief.
I would never again stay there or recommend any of my professional people to stay there.

I love this place ! Both husband and wife are GREAT and friendly Yes rough around edges but who cares beds /sheets clean a/c kicks ass and for the price can't beat it ! Don't have bugs regardless what others say and if they have a few? Who cares we ARE IN TEXAS for Christ sake zzz we have bugs everywhere in this awesome state!

The guy at the desk was rude. The phone in the room didn't work so had to walk back to the office. Who has continental breakfast from 0500-0830. phone still didn't work so had to google the number to find out breakfast hours.. the worst experience ive ever had.

Rooms are clean. But don't be fooled. It's the same as a motel 6. Nothing special. Ice and coke machine don't work.. Very small motel. Breakfast consists of toast and convenience store pastries. Upside there is a 7-11 within 20 steps. Right on the freeway so you hear cops and ambulance sirens all night. I paid less than $200 for 3 nights. You get what you pay for. Rooms have coffee machine but no coffee or filters be sure to bring your own. Beds are comfortable. Staff is helpful. It is convenient to the river but not close. If you are looking just for a place to sleep and not looking for anything else. It's great!

Very friendly accommodating Staff at the Front Desk. Housekeeping crew very interactive and pleasant to deal with. Love the old Alpine decor. Great visit and pricing. Will be back.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. I walked from the shower to the bed and my feet got dirty. The tub had a soap scum ring all the way around and there was no water pressure. My husband killed a roach while using the bathroom. He set his muffin on the microwave while he showered. When he went to get his muffin, it was covered in roaches. The a/c unit leaked water all over the carpet. My son pulled out the sleeper on the sofa and a horrible smell filled the room. It smelled like a dead rat or vomit. When we left, looking down the corridor in front of every room, there were buckets to catch leaking water from the a/c units. The sheets used to change the bedding is stored in boxes stacked outside in the breezeway. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel. Being dated is okay. But being filthy is poor management and laziness.

Bad customer service , old rooms with ac not working very well. I asked for assistance and the Maintenace man was in shorts, tank top and said is all we can do. Not very knowledgeable.
Smoke detector was off the wall and my neighbors kept going off all night.
Manager had an attitude and offered me to check another room and stay or refund. Very unprofessional. Other room was tolerable and we were too tired to pack up and leave so we stayed. Will never stay here again.

For those of you who gave this hotel a bad rating, Shame on You! This for a 30+ year hotel was great. Front desk down to the cleaning staff. They even put a cone in front of our parking space by our room, as my husband has back issues. That you again for a wonderful stay, and we will BE BACK.MIKE & DHEILA

It was horrible. I give it 2 thumbs DOWN! There were roaches everywhere. There were rats in the wall. The non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarettes were stills being lit there. There were baby spiders all over the bathroom shower. The comforters were yellow and the pillows looked like they were never washed. The floor had dead roaches. The cabinets had food and old shoes. They had the nerve to offer complimentary breakfast.no thank you. We left there and didn't look back. Please know the hotel is NOTHING like the pictures. You will be disgusted. Make sure you wash everything you have after you leave. The showers were filthy and had roach eggs inside the tub.

Again, NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

Girlfriend and I stayed for a night with some of her family. We got 2 rooms and they both had a stench. Ours got better after running the AC really cold for a while. We were only staying for a night so most of the little things were tolerable. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for a multi night stay. If you're looking for an easy place to stay after a long drive or drinking then it's ok. Also, please be aware that you may be over charged in tax. Do your own math. It should be 13%, not the 17% that we, and everyone else in the parking lot that was checking out ( we asked ) was charged. Reeked of money skimming.
