A basic hotel in a fabulous location. My daughter & I stayed here for 4 nights in August & it was fab. It’s a no frills hotel less than a minute walk from Times Square. The hotel is very clean & the staff are lovely & very helpful. If you want luxury, don’t stay here. If you want to live & love New York with just somewhere to sleep. This is perfect for you. I am staying here again in January. Cannot wait.

Cute hotel right in the center of the street. Almost missed it under the recent scaffolding. Friendly staff and super comfy beds, rooms were very warm (no temp adjust) but otherwise very cozy! Great restaurants right on the block.

Hotel is very close to time square. DO NOT get any rooms facing the street, ithey are very loud. I wish the receptionist would of warned us about that. Our room’s heater would not turn on. Staff told me that it would eventually turn on but never did. No one bothered to follow up. Next day I requested to move rooms. It was in the back of the hotel and much better. Both rooms had uncomfortable mattresses. Thankfully with all the walking we did i was too tired to care. Regardless, it was a very clean hotel and the best part was the distance to time square and the restaurant next door..

Great location, stayed for 4 night and yes air con is a bit loud at night but is manageable. WiFi is a bit hit and miss at times. One thing to mention is that it took around 10-15 minutes to get hot water running in the room which according to reception is the norm but this was in an ‘older’ room so not sure if quicker in a newer room. No bar or restaurant nor tea making facilities in hotel, but turn right out of the hotel and go to the cranberry cafe for great coffee and breakfast. (The sausage 2 egg muffin is awesome)

Excellent location if you want to be in midtown around Times Square. The block it's on is relatively quiet. Hotel is dated but clean, and rooms are spacious by NY standards. No complaints.

Great location. No frills. Clean! If you're going to walk over to Time Square or go see something on Broadway this place is very convenient. The room gets the job done. I wish I were there now.

Good "two star" tourist hotel in Times Square. It's a two star hotel in Times Square, so it's not the Ritz. The people working there are competent -- we didn't like our first room and they switched us with no problems. They delivered a rollaway bed quickly. Be sure to request a room at the back of the building. The front gets a lot of street noise (why we requested the move). The shower took a long time to get hot water. Additionally, some ambient light from outside got into the room at night.
You might want to bring a sleep mask. There's a lovely large sitting area which must have been a lounge/bar in a previous life.

Nice hotel, seems to be under renovation. Elevators have been a mix of functional and non-functional during my two day save. Had a small issue with my AC in my first room so they had us move to another. Good staff (desk workers have been great and highly friendly). Overall polish could be better but it's in a good location for exploring the city.

This hotel was fine - nothing fancy, just a basic room. Our room didn't have AC, but we had windows on both sides of the room, so there was airflow. The hot water took a while to heat up in the sink and shower, but it gets really hot. Also, not much counter space in the bathroom, so we used the dresser drawers to store our toiletries. There was no coffee maker/Keurig type machine in the room. We weren't in the room much at all anyways.. mainly just to sleep. The location was great! If you just walk to the corner, you're in Times Square. Easy access to the subway. This was the only hotel I could find under $200/night, and it worked perfectly. But again, nothing fancy.

Location is ideal for walking around time square which is half a block walk away. Close to Broadway and good restaurants that are TV famous. Room is decent enough size (we got a single bed but King sized bed room), staff are kind enough to provide an extra very comfy folding bed as a friend crashed a stay overnight. My two minor concerns are one, there is no exhaust fan inside the toilet and one of the two elevators keep malfunctioning. Lastly my MAJOR problem with the place is this one concierge/clerk guy (Aisian who wears a scarf all the time) is extremely rude. He treaded my friend and I with unacceptable attitude when we were just checking in. I hope he's given a job at the hotel that doesn't deal with people because clearly he's not up to the task.

Hotel room itself was clean.. no bugs or anything like that. Very close to Times Square and friendly staff, but everything is very dated. Decor isn't appealing and you can tell that any room repairs or renos were done very cheaply. The heater in the room is very old and noisy which would make a very loud knocking sound throughout the night. If you're not planning on spending much time in the hotel it's a decent place to stay.

Good hotel. Good location. Room was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Overall good experience. 1 of the 2 elevators appears to be a service elevator and is in bad shape.

Spacious bedrooms with clean beds and toilets. The latter can be a little cramped however, but is large enough to comfortably do whatever you need it for!

Water pressure is a bit light at the sink, but the shower is just fine.

The air-conditioning really is quite noisy though, and it got quite warm even on Christmas.

Beds are also super loud I woke myself up moving in it.

For the price though and the proximity to anything useful, I would definitely recommend the place!
