The location is superb in terms of it being central. The service was efficient and friendly. The hot cider and cookies in the lobby where a real treat. The room was nice, modern yet had a lot of traditional flavor to it.
The only weird thing was the way the rooms were divided. It's hard to explain. The rooms (at least some) are grouped in pairs sharing some common entrance and then an individual door to each. It's ok if your neighbor is quiet or if you need two rooms. My neighbors were very noisy. It would be ok if we didn't share a common area but in this hotel we did.
Over all, I liked the hotel and the service I received.

I stayed 2 nights for a business event. The room was clean and beautiful. Anthony G at the front desk was fantastic. My fiance and I got in at 4 am and he was super helpful then and the next day when I had a few questions. He was super kind and helpful both times I spoke with him! 10/10 service! I hope he gets recognized for his good attitude and work.

Nice hotel, good location. Nothing special, room was small. For me uncomfortably. Stuff is friendly, but when we checked out, we paid cash and then received bill. So they charged second time from my card. I called in the hotel and they refunded money.

This is a nice hotel. The staff is super friendly. It's located near JWU and convenient to a lot of great restaurants. It's older, but will maintained.

Had a great stay and meeting at Hotel Providence. Very much enjoyed my stay and reading about the building, antique objects on display. Had an excellent lunch in their private dining room, and the perfect sized space for our meeting of ten. Staff was fantastic, especially Carlos in the dining room and Patrick at the front desk.

I was there finalizing our wedding details. We did a walk through. Where we arrived, we waited for valet parking, but the valet attendant waited inside. We had to get out the car and advise the valet parking attendant that we were there to meet our wedding advisor. He then finally took the keys but provided is no ticket, which caused an issue when leaving. The walk through was great, especially since this was now it third wedding advisor for the venue. The venue is great and the staff has been very helpful. I'll right a review after our stay.

I have not been to a hotel with such an incredibly warm and genuinely hospitable staff in years. Every person greets you and is engaging. I've been sitting in the lobby listening to them giving outstanding service to every guest that comes in or interacts with the people at the front desk. The room is nicely appointed, clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Stopped for dinner and drinks on the patio. The atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent, though they had one person waiting tables outside, inside, and running the bar. But he kept up with everything very well. The nachos are pretty good and the drinks were great. Will definitely be going back.

The staff on all fronts was very approachable and service was quick despite the heavy traffic of incoming visitors. Rooms were comfy and clean, though some of the coffee cups were already worn and used when I arrived. Besides that minor flaw, this is a nice hotel close to many resturants and other certain places of interest.

Upmarket, boutique-style hotel in downtown Providence.

Impeccably clean and well-maintained. High quality fittings and the rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Easy access to local dining and venues.

Overnight valet parking is expensive and so is the bottled water in the rooms. Good room rates online though.

Sales team and staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was fantastic! The entire hotel's decor is absolutely lovely and the service is top notch. The staff was great and the amenities in the room leave nothing to be desired. Oh, and the beds! Best night of sleep I've had in a while. While I didn't get a chance to try the hotel restaurant, that's mostly because it's located in an area where there's a ton of great places to eat. It's in the heart of downtown, so you get to see a lot of great architecture. I can't recommend this place enough.

We found this place on hotel tonight and am very impressed. All of the staff is very friendly. The location was easy to find and within walking distance of a great neighborhood with many shops and restaurants. The room was spacious with very high ceilings. Everything was very clean. I highly recommend.
