I liked everything about this hotel, from the large and comfortable room to the delicious coffee in the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I loved the view of Columbus Park, with its morning T'ai Chi.

Stayed at this hotel over the summer and we liked it so much we are staying there over thanksgiving week. Location is very cool being in Chinatown and right by little Italy. Great restaurants in the area. The staff here are very nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean and plenty of space for a hotel in the city. Breakfast is at a restaurant a few doors down. Definitely recommend this hotel for price, local ambiance and proximity to major subway lines. Looking forward to our stay there next week.

We really enjoyed our stay here. They have free WiFi, complimentary water bottles and a slot to put your key card in so that the lights turn on. 2 people per room get free breakfast provided a few doors down at Mama Eatery restaurant. They don't have a have a laundromat there, but they do have a laundromat next door from them.

Amazing hotel!! Hotel staff were so nice and accommodating, the hotel provided free cold water and ice, there was vending machines at our use. The free breakfast in the mornings was filling and delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. Stayed in a double room and although it wasn't huge there was adequate space for four girls and their luggage. The hotel is in a good location near to many of the downtown tourist attractions and at the edge of Chinatown

Staff was both welcoming and nice, and the rooms were clean and well prepared.
It was a good place to stay in and very recommended. Hotel Mulberry was near many restaurants and it was easy to find a place to eat near the hotel.

BEWARE THE MUSIC IN THE PARK VIEW ROOMS - We paid extra for a hotel with a view of Columbus Park. A nice change from the usual rooms with the view of another building. HOWEVER, Chinese music plays from 9AM to 10PM in the park daily in the summer. IT NEVER STOPS. Want a nap after a long morning? Hope you can sleep though wild singing and the droning Chinese melodies. I would have given this place 4 stars easy if not for this. The free breakfasts are substantial, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. Overall this is a solid budget NY hotel. But that damned music that just wouldn't quit ruined this for us.

This hotel is like an oasis in Manhattan. I was traveling with my 2 teenage daughters, and this is a quiet neighborhood very near the canal and brooklyn bridge train stations. This is a great jumping iff point to NYC at very reasonable prices. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay here was perfect. The staff were so nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was one of the best hotel bed I ever slept on, and appreciated after all the walking around we did during our visit. The room was also quiet, we did not have much city street noise and were not disturbed during the night at all. The bathroom had a comfortable tub/shower and the water could get as hot as you could stand.

All in all this was a wonderful hotel and any we will hopefully stay here on any trip we take to the NYC.

Decided not to do the times square tourist trap this time and ended up here. Way more relaxing and the food in the area is amazing. Complimentary breakfast at Mama's was incredible. Hotel staff were extremely pleasing and the room itself was clean. The bed slept like a dream with great views of downtown Manhattan. Felt safe in the neighborhood and my kids loved the park across the street with all the friendly neighborhood kids.

This quaint hotel off the bustling streets of mulberry is quite a catch. I was impressed with the décor the quietness of the hotel and it is walking distance with in a lot of really cool hidden treasures. My husband and I needed an escape from life. With four kids and busy jobs sometimes it is hard to find a decent price in the big city. This place was reasonable, offers a free breakfast. My husband and I needed an umbrella and it was nothing for them to accommodate us. We missed our first night and the hotel was able to work with us keeping us in the same room and gave the next night at a discount. I was very pleased and look forward to going back there in a couple of weeks.

First time staying at this place and it was 2 days because my apartment nearby was under renovation. First night was very comfortable and nice with the view of Columbus park, with flat screen TV direct TV and wifi. Now about the con. A hotel should have enough inventory for its guest. There were no toothbrush and toothpaste for us. I don't know how you run out. I mean as a hotel you should have enough. And most hotel have complimentary waters per day but if you stay longer then a day they will not add more water for you the following day. But overall the people were nice and try to help and the night was comfortable.
