Very Satisfied with the hotel! All staff members were helpful and polite. They all had big smiles while being helped. Be prepared for $47 parking and of course it's New York busy!

The staff went above and beyond for us. They were friendly efficient, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. For that alone we continue to come back. I have never had such a warm staff, be so accommodating. This is the place if you want good location,, adequate food and lodging but above all a staff who does what they do beautifully!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around

We chose this Hampton because it's so close to Ariana, the best Afghan restaurant in NY. Desk staff very busy but handling it--patient and knowledgeable. Good breakfast. Very interesting view of a random street in NY. Rooms lovely, clean, wall of windows. Can't give it a five because in other big cities HI has the concierge or bellhops help with transportation. This HI had NO help for subway, bus or train. Concierge sent everyone to a man in the lobby who didn't work for the hotel, made his living taking a cut of inflated taxi fares.

This is a special secret of NYC. Number one it is one of the most reasonably priced hotels in all of the city. Number two it is smack in the middle of Times Square with all the shows. Number three it is not so close that the noise keeps you awake. And finally, they serve you a full breakfast. Not just danish. Eggs, bacon, waffles, enough to keep you going all day. AND .. Nathan's hot dogs are a few blocks down the street. Check it out!!

The hotel is clean and well maintained by the management. Their rooms are clean, and they have a courteous staff. Quick to book my room. No hassle at all.

The rooms are very clean, staff is friendly, hot breakfast is good, location is awesome! They even store your bag before you can check in so you can enjoy the sights without dragging luggage around. Would recommend!

Great location. Was given room on the second floor. My view was a car garage. Then i noticed that the hot water was not working. I called the front desk and they gladly changed my room to the 6th overlooking the busy city below. Definitely ask for a room facing the front and as high as you can be! Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Expect to pay in the high $40's for overnight parking.

Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Wish there were small fridges in the room and microwave. Plus the view was of nothing but a building and requested highest level possible when I reserved it a month ago.and got 3rd floor only. Otherwise not bad.

I stayed at this location recently with my students who attended a conference and spoke at the UN. We were greeted cordially by all employees who went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. From delicious breakfasts, to special treats, assisting with all of our luggage and catering to every whim, it was a great experience. The Hampton Inn is within walking distance to major attractions and will provide you with friendly service. Special thanks to Teddy who went above and beyond with providing assistance and checking up on me.

BED BUGS!!! DON'T STAY HERE!! My friends and I stayed here for a girls trip and the first night of our trip was great. The staff treated us well, and the room was clean and very nice. I've had bad experiences before with hotels and I was a little hesitant about staying in a hotel in the city. (usually stay in jersey) I brought my sleeping bag and slept in that the first night on top of the covers because I'm just really convinced that hotels just aren't sanitary. The next night we come to hotel from being out and we are talking on the bed, and a BED BUG just starts walking across the pillow in the middle of us! We immediately pack our things and headed to the front desk. Mind you it was 3 am in the morning, so only person we could talk to was the overnight front desk staff. I demanded to speak with a manager but no manager was available. We wanted to switch hotels completely but they told us they couldn't do that and I had to wait until 8am to speak with a manager. We got a new room which was okay, but we still didn't feel comfortable in the same hotel. The next morning I spoke with a manager and he told me what I saw probably was a spider (EVEN THOUGH I CLEARLY HAVE PICTURES BUT OKAY) and showed me some BS paper that said the room has been checked for bed bugs. He was very rude and didn't want to hear a thing I was saying (he continuously talked over my friends and I) He compensated one of our nights. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!! I'll just stay in jersey anytime I need to go to the city.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly! Great location to everything! A great pick for a weekend getaway. However, there was no towels in the room when first checked inonly found out the next day after I my shower. Also, the cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved as there was hair still in the tub and on the floor from the previous guest.
