Wow. What a great hotel. We put the guests here for our wedding and everyone loved it. Even the guests who normally complain about everything raved about it. The service was really, really good. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The rooms were nice and big, and, being new, had lots of plugs and modern, beautiful bathrooms. The rooms have refrigerators and it's about a 3 minute walk to a Publix grocery store just north of the hotel. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown Sarasota, where there is lots of nightlife and great restaurants or you can take the free shuttle that the city of Sarasota operates. Things close a little earlier in Sarasota than in big cities. The restaurant in the hotel has great food and the bar has interesting, well-made drinks. It doesn't have a full, wide view of the bay, because it is turned sideways. You have to pay for parking, which I think was $10 a night. The pool is just a wading pool, so you can sit around it, but you can't swim laps. The beach is a 10 minute drive and St. Armand's Circle, a fancy shopping area, is also a 10 minute drive. The airport (Sarasota-Bradenton Airport) is about 10 minutes away and Tampa International Airport is about 1 hour.

Says pet friendly, but doesn’t tell you it’s $100 NON-refundable. Seems like a nice place from observing the website, but not worth the extra $100 to stay there.

I love this hotel. Rooms are very nicely appointed and bathrooms are large. Staff are very friendly. They have beach rental bikes which allows you to bike over the causeway to the beach.

Everything about Hotel Indigo was amazing! From my first call making a reservation to checking out, every employee we came in contact with were very hospitable. The front desk was always welcoming, the housekeeping was extremely nice, and the bartenders made sure we didn't go thirsty!

I have no idea why this is considered a 3-star hotel. The rooms are large, immaculate and beautifully decorated; the hardwood floors are great the dining area has great food! Their complimentary breakfast is top notch: omelet station, french toast, fruit bar, eggs Benedict, plus all the usual items you'd find elsewhere. Their kitchen also has a great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I personally recommend the cajun shrimp pasta. What really separates this hotel from those like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt is the customer service. Their quality of service is so professional and accommodating. I recommend staying here to see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Seriously I dare you to find a nicer staff or a better hotel. The room was amazing, huge bathroom, cleaning staff always did an incredible job, and most of all the front desk was always happily welcoming and kindly responded to any needs we had. In fact I don't even know how to write an accurate review for this place because its way better than I can write about. I'll put it this way, this place was so good that it made me write my first ever, and probably last google review.

Quiet hotel and not busy at all considering it's a weekend in July. Room decor was nice. Parking is convenient outside and in the underground garage, but costs $10 per night. Convenient location, 10 minutes or less to local attractions and venues. We will definitely stay here again.

We have had many friends, as well as us stay here. Very contemporary decor. Friendly staff and a great location. This is part of the Intercontinental chain. If you are looking for something other than the big chains, this is you place. Nice beer and wine bar in the lobby.

Tried checking in at check in time -3pm, was told our rooms weren't ready. We had reserved 5. It was after 4pm by the time they had the rooms available. Then they weren't clean. There was a gooey substance on the door handle and sink. The pool is the tiniest thing I've ever seen. Not impressed with the staff. The rooms were nice, with a pretty decent shower.

I love to give a good review when it is deserved. This hotel is a gem. The staff members are super friendly and accommodating. I arrived late Saturday night with my crew but still with intentions of snooping around and reviewing this property. Here is what I discovered; super cleanliness in all corners. The elevator was clean, both of them!

Real nice boutique hotel with seaside decor. Rooms are well designed, ample bathroom space and nice clean floors (no nasty carpet). Friendly staff that will provide beach /pool towels and bikes to rent. Only downside is the fitness center and pool area are pathetic. This pool area should be almost illegal in Florida. You can't lounge at it at all.
