We had a great experience at Hotel Estes! Here are a few reasons why I recommend staying here:
-The staff is very accommodating. They gave us recommendations for things to do/ trails to hike.
-The rooms have a nice view of the mountains and the hotel is a short drive away from entry into Rocky Mtn National Park and downtown Estes (shops, restaurants, and the Stanley Hotel).
-The bathrooms were really nice and you can rent movies for free and watch them in your room.
-They have complimentary breakfast, coffee, hot chocolate, and a water-bottle fill up station. Which, if you're a hiker, you'll definitely need.
This hotel had everything we needed! It was clean, great location, and affordable. We didn't research much on where we were going to stay [why would we waste time in a hotel room when you could be exploring the Rockies?!] but we were very pleased and happy that we chose Hotel Estes!
Friendly staff, cute hotel, and great location. They have a nice fire pit and even had a s'mores time! The room we were in was a little small, but it had everything we needed. Lots of windows and natural light which is rare for hotels.
Great location, easy access to the main roads toward the Rocky Mountain National Park and places of interest.
The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Perhaps the only drawback is when there are people occupying the upper rooms, there is a lot of noise from the footsteps on the wooden floor and the continuous rooms are the same, the acoustic insulation is not very good.
The staff is friendly and the check-in / check-out processes were very quick.
Amazing views. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. The rooms are very clean and quaint. I love the extra details the friendly staff took to make us feel at home; like real coffee mugs and keys with the hotels logo on them, real toiletries (aromatherapy) and quilts on the beds.
The views are incredible! There is an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs utter they are only open until 10 PM. There is a nice breakfast buffet with breakfast burritos, fruit, yogurt, waffles, bagels, etc.. The room was a bit dated but comfortable enough for a night or two. The rooms have exterior corridors and there is no elevator. Anyone with issues with stairs should request a first floor room! The location of the hotel was convenient.
This place is great. We have stayed at one of there other locations and it was also amazing. Staff is always great and prices are not bad at all.
Quaint old school style motel. Rooms were clean, but low frills. Poor TV reception and lack of channel selection. Breakfast was underwhelming. We ended up at McDonalds instead during our visit. If you want low tech and rustic this is it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The room we had was clean and freshly updated. New tile shower and granite vanity top. Fridge in room. Bath and body soaps made points with my wife! Comfy bed! Estes park has lots of black bear activity at night and I heard one digging in the trash outside our room. Big raccoons is what locals call them. Decent complementary breakfast. 2 hot tubs but both were full. Loved it overall!
Okay hotel for a quick trip to Estes Park. The room had a few issues Bathroom door would not latch, AC knob was broken, and the cable TV had static on most of the channels. Easy check-in/out. Free light continental breakfast looked good, but we already had other plans. Good customer service.
The hotel was recently renovated! It was clean and the staff were really friendly. The price per night at $95 made it worth it. The hotel isn't worth spending much more than that, but was a great hotel.
Friendly staff, great room with comfy beds, great view, easy access to lots of great parts of the national park.
We chose to divert our route in hopes of a less nerve-wracking drive through the mountains, and ended up choosing Hotel Estes because it was along that route and had good reviews. The convenience and affordability was good for us.
The hotel is rustic but very nice, which wood trimmed doors and other such themes. The front office is a vaulted room with tall glass windows and a number of seats for people to relax. Quite a comfortable area, it sports a fireplace and a TV with racks of DVD's available for us. The complimentary breakfast is of the colder fare but was good. There was a pool, though it is not the right season. Not sure about a hot tub.
The office employee was nice and relaxed. You knew it was a good environment. I plan on recommending this place to a group of friends coming to visit me soon, as the place is great and in a location with amazing views.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our bridesmaids/groomsmen in the family-sized rooms for our wedding this past September, and we thought it was a GREAT deal! It is a super cute hotel, and the staff at the desk is really friendly. We all really enjoyed everything about our stay: it was quiet, had great views, was very clean, and had very comfortable beds. One of our guests had to arrive while the rest of us were out at dinner, and the staff had no problem keeping a key for her at the front desk so she could get in while we were gone. Though not really important to us, the breakfast is not the most exciting (pastries and yogurt). We found the price was very good for the quality of our accommodations.
We had a nice 2 night stay at Hotel Estes! We were happy to find a place we could bring our dog along with us. The rooms were newly updated it looks like. They were clean and well taken care of. They have a small continental breakfast with cereal, fruits, yogurt, bagels, toast, etc. they have a nice large area to walk your dogs, swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, fire pits, play ground. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
