Best beer shop in Birmingham, bar none. Great taps, nice patio, outstanding selection. Do check the dates on stuff that doesn't sell through quickly, I have picked up a couple bottles there that were well past their prime but that's to be expected with a store that carries so much stock.

I can drink beer while I shop for beer!! How can it not be amazing? Also great selection of beer on tap and beer to just buy. Oh yeah, they have wine too.

Awesome place, sample the taps while you look for the perfect 6pack. This way you have libations for when you put to use the brewing supplies you purchased after catching a Brewers class.

Best place in Birmingham for the hard to find beer and you can mix and match. They have a great wine selection. Also have a good selection of beer on tap.

Love craft beer selection and the bar. I enjoy getting 4 ounces tastes of several different beers, most of them I never see anywhere else. And selections change every week. So every time I go it's an adventure. You can get them in growlers, too. Just wish the bar would stay open a bit later.

Such a fun place! Very good bar staff with some great choices for beer and wine. Order food from the food truck that they more than likely have there or get a to go order from Cantina.

The best beer selection in Birmingham. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have an amazing draft list with growler options. There is also a homebrew section with everything from liquid yeast to hops and any dry supplies you could desire.

Best beer selection in B'ham. Great staff, mind boggling selection of bottled and canned beer organized by style with additional aisles for Belgian beer, singles, and "international" beers. Long row of coolers with best in town selection of cold beers. Well maintained draft lines with an always changing selection of draft beers for on-site consumption and growler filling. Sometimes a little crowded and access to the bar can be difficult but on the upside, the high throughput guarantees fresh beer.
Home brewing section lacks attention. I could not find hop prices and somehow the section looks unorganized.
It would be nice to have a source for snacks and food nearby. The extended porch invites longer sampling sessions that might require solid nutrients.response / report this review
