Strong amount of dinge but can't say it lacks character. The lobby feels like it was designed for a David Lynch movie and populated with colorful characters. Looking forward to seeing what the new station will be like when construction is completed.

No parking area due to ongoing construction of new terminal. If there is one, there is no signage to direct you. The old station looks like an abandoned derelict. Minimal staff. When I picked up my daughter yesterday, no one was manning the window inside, so I just had to guess where to go.

Hopefully, all this will improve once the new terminal is finished, but it appears to be way behind schedule.

This station is a black mark on the city. I bet thru passengers look at this and are very glad they aren't getting off the train in Birmingham.

And the train was running 1:45 late yesterday. And her train to NOLA was super late 3 weeks ago. Looks like a pattern.

I don't think the construction will improve this station. I have had several bad experiences here and will only use the station in Anniston from now on (not a huge improvement).
