Archery department has horrible customer service. Husband went in to get a bow fixed so he could give it to a friend in need and the guy laughed at him and was talking about how cheap it is. Was an older bow, but was trying to donate to a friend that lost his in a fire. Made him feel like he shouldn’t even give it him, that it wasn’t good enough. You can’t work in customer service and treat people that way.

Every time I go into this store or call, the service is terrible. The employees don't seem very sociable. I don't care what type of personality you have, but pull your head out of your ass and act a little interested in what you're doing. Archery department especially. Had to have arrows ordered and was told one week. Two weeks passed, no call. Called them and it was apparent they were never ordered to begin with. Over priced as well. Most of the items in stock you can find online for much cheaper. Do your research.

This a great place to learn and find exactly what you are looking for. They have a wide selection of everything. They are a minn kota certified repair facility and are building a new small area out back to work on outboards. Two reasons this store exceeds expectations - INCREDIBLE customer service from guns to tackle to archery to even clothing. Next thing is they are not afraid to stock new (potentially unproven) gear. For example you can get baits here that I only can find on the internet - even Bass Pro does not normally stock them as well as cutting edge archery products. Jason does a great job and his staff is great. They also have suckers for the kids so they want to go there too to get a sucker. They have given my children free minnows on multiple occasions just so the kids can watch them swim. The prices are right, the service is great and the selection is top notch.
The only way this could be better is if they served beer.

Archery selection was great. Service was terrible. I went up to buy a bow and the bow tech didn't even tune it in or make sure it was completely adjusted for my girlfriend's size. Tech seemed unknowledgable and seemed like he hated his job. Won't be going back soon

I like HCT, they have a great selection of fishing gear and guns as well as higher end products you don't find in the big box stores. They are also very friendly and have excellent service. I've gone in with several questions about guns and fishing rods and always came out knowing more.

Stew at the archery counter was very helpful, we felt no pressure to buy and he gave us a lot of helpful information. This place has a large selection of bows and a decent selection of guns, and also has an archery range that you can come to for a cheap price. They have an archery leauge that comes and meets there a couple nights a week. This place is great!

These guys always know their firearms. Good pricing, and good service, every single time Ive been in there. I drive 64 miles to go here, as opposed to each of the other 4 shops on my way north. They also have a selection second to none Ive yet to see in Indiana. Ive often seen very hard to find arms at Honey Creek with realistic and reasonable pricing.
