The service was quite good except that the food during the morning buffet was rather sparse (items, utensils, glasses, etc were not replaced for long periods of time).

The rooms are separated between a living space with kitchen and bedroom. They are kept fairly clean and the beds are comfortable enough. The hotel offers breakfast everyday and dinner Monday through Thursday. They also offer shuttle services to Duke hospital. I'd recommend this hotel especially if you are coming for medical.

The room was very nice and the breakfast was fantastic. We drove from Johnson city, tn to stay for me to take my nursing boards the next day. The hotel was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

I am a Hilton Honors member and had a room booked for today as my young son was having a surgical procedure tomorrow. I called yesterday to cancel room and got a very rude employee that told me I did not cancel within 48 hours and I would be charged. I came home yesterday with 104 fever with vomiting. I was trying to be respectful to not spread the virus I had but they didn't care. When asked to speak to manager, no one was available. I prefer Homewood Suites as it is set up for families but I think I will now stick to just Hilton properties only. Been a member to long and in fact this would have been my 3rd night just this week in a Hilton property. This is not how you treat your loyal customers. Who plans to get sick or have an emergency within 48 hours. I travel for a living and the most I have ever heard is a 24 hour window for cancellations. I would not even stay here even if the room was free. I am all about good customer service. I know as reception pointed out that they are owned separately but never will I book at this property ever again. There are way too many options that offer above and beyond service. They can keep my money but lesson was well learned. Be careful when booking at this property, 48 hour cancellation, and no management on duty. I am the last person to write a negative review but buyer be aware of this property.

Big thanks to Jonathan and his staff for going way above and beyond to help me and my family with a week-long stay. Even mailed me my lost sunglasses a week later. 5 star service from a would-be 5 star hotel.

Everything was awesome. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great and suited our needs and the breakfast was just enough to get us going the next day. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was incredible!

The pool is great! The coffee all day was great. The room was huge and clean and we got everything. The Suite Shop was perfect for a late night snack. I would recommend it!

Great hotel, fantastic location. It's right by I-40, only 15 minutes from UNC Chapel Hill, and the facilities are very nice. The only reason I won't rate it 5 Stars is because I had booked a king size bed and they gave me a double bed room instead. Staff was friendly and helpful, but it was pretty uncomfortable sleeping in a double bed with my wife. All things considered, it wasn't terrible.
