We had a great time at this hotel! Front staff was very accommodating during our entire 9 day stay.
You will find plenty to do here when you visit. There is a nice pool, waterfall pool and hot tub. There is also a Tiki Bar/restaurant on location. Great people there as well but they could use some extra staff.
There are plenty of state parks nearby to visit. Plenty of nearby restaurants including my favorites, The Lazy Lobster and Sundowners.
The pics are taken at Sundowners for obvious reasons 😁
Dated. Staff friendly, pool area and bar nice; bed was comfortable. Room mediocre -- sink didn't drain, door required slamming to close all the way, stains on couch (although room was overall quite clean), low water pressure. Would be 2.5 stars if half-stars were possible.
Clean, comfortable and affordable Booked through Expedia and didn’t have any problems or anything to scream praises about. Just the way it should be.
We often stay here when we work in the keys. As a travelling antenna technician we spend a lot of time in hotels, holiday inn of key largo is no slouch. They're understanding and always willing to please.
Very comfortable bed, nice pool and tiki bar. Didn't try any food as went to Doc's Diner across the road for breakfast. Whirlpool seemed over chlorinated. Air conditioning was quite loud. Overall, a quite average hotel (in a motel style) for a good price.
Clean, decent rooms with comfortable beds. My mom has mobility issues so we were in a handicap accessible room which was laid out nicely for the most part. She enjoyed the large shower that actually kept the water in the shower and not all over the bathroom like what tends to happen with some accessible bathrooms. The only thing to look out for is the way the ramp leading into the bathroom is done. The bathroom sits slightly higher than the floor in the rest of the room with a small steep ramp for wheelchairs. This was something that we kept stumbling over off and on because it's easy to forget that it's built that way. So, if you have someone that is somewhat ambulatory like my mom, they need to be mindful of this to prevent possibly falling. The rest of the room was great though.
Very basic accommodations. The hotel rooms could use a face lift with some updating. The pool area is quite nice. There are 2 good size pools, one with a water falls. We did eat the buffet breakfast one day we were there. It was good and it had a good amount of variety. The service was good and attentive in the restaurant. We were here for a dive trip and it served our purpose well. It's your basic Holiday Inn as far as the rooms go and the remainder of the hotel is well taken care of and nice.
Good solid hotel with nice beds and swimming pools and bar. Cafe too. Inside rooms are very quite. They are a bit under the Holiday Inn standard for things like TV, bathroom, furniture, etc. I don't really care but it did feel like I was in cheaper chain's hotel. 160 a night should give you more.
We really liked the pool, they had a fun little waterfall and the water temperature was great. They did have some scuba practice going on in the pool at one point but there are 2 different pools and they were able to stay out of the way. Overall I had a great time.
The pool area is great. It has a nice bar but it does close at 10pm. The rooms do not have many outlets which if your here for diving makes it hard to charge devices.
Two story but NO ELEVATOR! Had an elderly parent with so it was not ideal. Front door had card entry but door was not lockedso you do not need to use card to enter building
Room was decent and good deal for the price. Plus side, it has it's own marina
The hotel was very convenient to Pennekamp State Park, where we had a great time on a snorkeling trip. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms ate clean. The pool was nice and there's a bar at the pool which was pretty great too. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Great value hotel and I would definitely stay again.
