That was my third time spending time there. The people are very friendly at the desk also in the dining area. The breakfast was wonderful if you haven't had the Grits you need to try them. And I'll see y'all next time when I come back.

Stayed there for my son's graduation from Parris Island and our stay was great. The staff is extremely friendly and always greeted us and asked how are stay was going. Rooms were clean and spacious. I would recommend this to anyone.

Everyone there was friendly and courteous, Accommodating. Only problem was our room was not clean. Cereal on the floor by night stand. Maid didn't come first day at all. Next day when she came I told her about it. She took a broom to the carpet and swept it out where she could vacuum it. That was the only place she vacuumed. Floor in entry was sticky. She mopped that.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was.
The staff was amazing especially Catelyn.
I have knocked off two stars because the pool was gross and did not opened until 9am.
I booked here so I could get in my morning swim.
In addition, although there was a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, it was incredibly dark (10 watt bulbs).response / report this review -

We just came back from south Carolina, we booked a room here to see our son who is a Marine. We drove for 12 hours. When we got in the room , it was horrible. We even found a toenail on the carpet ! The rugs were filthy, and the bathroom didn't even look like it was cleaned! We went to the desk to inform them, and Natalie was horrified. She asked us if we wanted a new room, or she would clean it herself. We went to dinner there, and talked with the bartender Donna Jean . She went above and beyond to make things better! We thank both of them for being so understanding. The only reason we would go back to this hotel, is because of their hospitality. THANK YOU DONNA AND NATALIA

Good all you can eat free breakfast everyday. Someone was always making sure the food was fresh and hot and that there was plenty of it. Coffee thru out the day was nice too. Clean rooms and helpful front desk personnel. We did have to complain about parking one time, somebody parked a huge SUV and boat in there and took up lots of space,. Within minutes everything worked out.

We visited here for a marine graduation. We stayed 3 nights. Upon arrival the hotel looked very nice. Very soon after the elevators stopped working. We had to use the stairs to get to the fourth floor until they offered the service elevator. which at first sounded great until there were dead cockroaches laying near the elevator (AND KITCHEN). The room seemed clean and comfortable until the second day when I had expensive perfume STOLEN from the room. The manager attempted to help relocate the perfume but ultimately said "he has no reason to not believe his staff" I was not compensated at all for the loss and instead they made it seem like it was my fault for not locking up my belongings and that I lost it. Running out of the hotel at 4 am for the graduation, I did not think to lock up my perfume.. and I regret that mistake because now I am at a loss. I will NEVER be returning to this hotel again because of low life workers who steal people's things when they are supposed to be working.

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. There was leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest the shower curtain was dirty the furniture is all beat up and old. Stains on the carpet. The entire hotel is rusty. The gym has never been cleaned and half the equipment there is rusty it doesn't work. The pool doesn't even have towels the pool is also filthy the hot tub wasn't even warm the furniture in the pool was all dirty and filthy it looked like it's from ten years ago not cleaned. The hotel staff did nothing when called or asked to. I'm never staying at a Holiday inn. I was expecting a nice hotel for a short stay but nope. If you want to stay here go ahead but don't expect anything nice .

Breakfast took a little long mainly because it looked like they were a little understaffed for the kitchen. But the food was very good. Beds comfortable along with the shower which have great water pressure

Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding on near by Fripp island - about a 35 minute drive away. The room was clean and spacious. We had nice view of the backwater marsh. The place was well maintained. The location is about a 5 minute drive to downtown Beaufort. Not the hotel's fault but there is some construction currently happening that prevents you from turning left into the hotel parking lot so you have drive past the hotel and turn around to get access to the parking.

Can't say enough about this establishment. I was greeted at the front desk with warm smiles and true kindness upon my arrival. After a long 12 hour drive all I was thinking about was food and sleep but to be greeted with such kindness was suck an added bonus. Upon entering my room I got my first look at what I would call a mini home away from home. I wasn't expecting what I walked in to. The room itself was large and quite comfortable. Two rooms and a small kitchen area was more than I had imagined. The room was spotless and welcoming. I decided to eat at the hotel that night and the staff was overwhelmingly accommodating to any of my wants and needs. I was close to the closing time for the restaurant but they still served me with a smile and polite conversation. Even when I asked for something that was not on the menu. I will return here every time I am in the area and highly incurage everyone to stay at this fine establishment. Thank you to all the staff and management for a wonderful stay.

We stayed in Beaufort during a mini-vacation for two nights and we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. We had plans to visit one of the downtown restaurants, but as we checked in and took our luggage to our room a thunderstorm rolled in. We weren't expecting much from the restaurant/bar downstairs, but thanks to James' suggestion we had the best shrimp 'n grits ever. 'Tasha at the bar ensured that we, along with the rest of the bar patrons had a great time right there in the hotel bar. The room was great with a beautiful view of the marsh. Our room was also quiet even though the hotel was really busy, we were never disturbed while sleeping. The hotel was great, but the time and attention we received from James and 'Tasha was absolutely a reflection of customer service and care.
