Our check in was delightful, with the receptionist Bob taking time to go over all information and giving us great dinner recommendations. He also accommodated us with a room with bay views on the first level. The next day we were pleasantly surprised by the separate breakfast house with a great variety and very friendly staff. We would definitely plan a future stay at this location.

What a wonderful place to stay. Very friendly staff. One of the best complementary breakfasts we have ever had. This Best Western has a quaint southern cottage feel. It's right on the water in the heart of downtown Beaufort. Perfect for walking to all of the shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Decent hotel in a great location. Staff is quite nice and the included breakfast is better than average too. The location can't be beat - right in town with an easy walk to everything. The hotel exterior fits well with the character of the downtown area. The rooms, however, are in serious need of a refresh. Grout and caulk is failing in the bathroom, and the daily cleaning crew tries to keep up - but they are losing the battle. Beds are comfortable, but decor is very dated. If hotel was a few miles out of town, it would be not acceptable. They are clearly taking advantage of their location. Something for you to consider before you book here - would you prefer more updated or right in town? Room itself gets 2 stars, location gets 4 - therefore 3 overall. BTW - if you have 1-2 people to room instead of 3 or 4, I recommend you consider City Loft instead - as location is just as good yet rooms are far more up to date.

It was a pleasant and positive experience that my wife and I would love to experience again! Thank you. The staff was superb and the location excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. (I would recommend bringing your own bottled/drinking water or let the tap run for a minute, standard “low country” tap water. Fine for all other purposes.) The complimentary continental breakfast selection was good and enjoyable. The dining area was pleasant and staff was attentive. We enjoyed the Christmas Tree! Thank you again and we look forward with anticipation to any future stays at this property.

This has been a wonderful stay. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Breakfast was great. Cereal, bagels,eggs,bacon,coffee, yogurt. The desk clerks were very helpful and nice. Would give 10 Stars if I could.

Hotel was in a great location so that we could walk to many shops and restaurants. Room was nice and clean and breakfast was great. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep, plus my husband's back was killing him when he got up in the morning. Check in was pleasant, but I had to ask about breakfast service, as the desk clerk did provide this information until prompted. Would probably stay here again if they replaced the mattress with something more comfortable. I got express check out (Just leave keys in room), but there a copy of the bill was not left under our door, which is usually done at other hotels for express checkout.

We stayed here for our son's Marine Corp graduation. The staff was excellent. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Quiet location. The view was amazing, right off of the waterfront. Walking distance to restaurants in town. About a 15 minute easy drive to Parris Island. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!!

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to restaurants, bars, and attractions. There is plenty of parking.
The entire staff was great!!! Polite, friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, everything worked perfectly. After spending over three weeks on the road, we were plagued by clogged shower heads , toilets not working, rock hard pillows etc. This hotel was great!
Good coffee and breakfast in a very pleasant dining room gave us a great start in the morning.response / report this review -

Great place to stay in downtown beautiful Beaufort. Hotel decorated to match the quaintness of the area. Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful.

Incredible location, minutes walk to the waterfront. Staff has been amazing. It was very hot while we were here and they had water and cold clothes for everyone in the office. They came by with ice cream to help cool everyone off. Very happy with our stay.

Great little place right by the water. The staff was a very friendly family, and even their kids went out of their way to help us out. Great easy breakfast in the mornings and housekeeping was impeccable. Probably going to come back down this way this summer and will definitely stay here if possible.

We visited Beaufort for our 20th Anniversary and stayed at this hotel. We could not of asked for a better experience and friendly staff. Even going as far as a surprise note and anniversary gift in our room. If you haven't heard already, Beaufort is one of the friendliest towns in America and the staff at Sea Island Hotel are helping that reputation in many ways. Clean rooms, great location, and the only pool that we saw downtown. We'll definitely refer them to friends and stay next visit.

Excellent property. Well locatedfriendly and helpful staff. Room was nicely decoratedcomfortable beds..clean. Microwave and Fridge provided. Breakfast hall was clean..bright. Food was good and tasty..lots of variety.

The place is a beautiful and reminds me of the New Orleans style buildings. The rooms were very well decorated, extremely nice and clean. They also have a refrigerator, microwave, and extremely comfortable beds. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the pool. The hotel is located right across from the Beaufort River with easy access to downtown Beaufort. We had a wonderful stay and excellent service. It is definitely a 5 star motel. I will definitely stay there again when I am down that way again.
