I travel for a living and have been happy with holiday inn express until now Daphne. I was woke up in the middle of the night about a noise complaint? Well I was sleeping, so I called back to complain about being woke up and the staff, who called me was knocked on my door to tell me I was too loud in calling the front desk in frustration? Never again, worst experience ever in regards to staff. I can't give a low enough rating, beware. Other than that clean

Great price and location. We were right off a main strip that had several dining options and was close to the interstate. Breakfast was hot and had variety. Room was clean. Cookies at the front desk in the afternoon and a friendly staff.

Seven family members needed to travel to Bay Minette, AL for a funeral recently. The offerings in Bay Minette were iffy, so we chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Spanish Fort/Daphne. Although several miles from where we needed to be, the hotel was easily accessible.
My husband was able to make the reservations online and prepaid for the rooms. I have never had a smoother check-in! I presented my driver's license and by the time I had signed the paperwork with my car tag, I was handed three key packets each containing two key cards (no question about needing a second key). The room numbers were written inside as well as a code as to the design of the room: KS-King Suite, K-King, and 2Q-two queen beds. This small gesture made it so easy to distribute the keys to the appropriate family member. Also included was the WiFi password--no need to ask! The staff was extremely polite and informative about the location of the elevators, ice and the all-important full breakfast in the morning.
All three rooms were sufficiently chilled when we entered. In the King Suite, there was a couch (I did not check to see if it folded out)and table, and a king bed. There was also a microwave and small refrigerator. The room is open--there is no wall, not even a half wall between the "living room" and the "bedroom." This did not concern me. There was a double set of roll-up blinds so that you could have total darkness or let the light in while still maintaining privacy. The hotel is near the interstate, but was well-insulated from the noise. Our suite, however, was connected to the next by a (locked) door and we quite easily heard the crying baby in the next room. Seems there should be a way to limit the noise breakthrough.
The TV in one of the rooms was not working but staff came right away and fixed it. They were always very respectful of our privacy and only entered the room when we opened the door for them.
Breakfast each morning included hot protein: eggs and sausage, and all the standards: cold hard-boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, juice. Instead of the ever-present waffle maker, they offered pancakes. A nice change-up.
The rooms were cleaned and restocked daily. All our requests were quickly and cheerfully.
I hope to have a reason to go to this hotel again soon!response / report this review -

We arrived about 9:45 p.m. We took a few hours to get comfortable and unwind from the 4 1/2 hr drive. I had just took my 3 yr old son and myself a bath to discover shortly after the bed had bugs in it. I took pictures and ask the clerk to come up but she refused. I told her I believe it to be bed bugs. The hotel was completely booked for the night. Therefore, we had no where to stay. The clerk offered to pay our first night and have our clothes cleaned but after 45 minutes waiting for her manager to call back ; we only offered a full refund of our reservation with out any fees and that was it. it was a holiday weekend and they could careless if we had another place to stay. We barely got the room we had. This was absolutely horrible. i would not stay here or another Holiday Inn after this experience. I am still waiting to see what they are going to do about this. Going on day 5 without a response from the owner/ general manager.

I visited your location in Daphne Alabama and the service was awesome! My wife and I celebrated our 27th year of marriage and we enjoyed the breakfast, the pool, the workout room and Steven the front desk gave great advice. I would rate this location 5 out of 5 STARS 😃

Pool was a disappointment but the shower was really good as with all the holiday inn expess's that I've been to. The breakfast was very good and the front desk person was wonderful. Just wish they offered the pool that was in the picture that was shown at their website for this location. We've been to Inn's that have the type of pools they advertised and have Jacuzzis also. We were really looking forward to swimming. The pool is so small, I doubt we could even have swam if we could have fit in it with the thirty people that were already there. It was mostly children which were having a great time. It is a good pool for grade school kids if you have them.

The front desk couldn't find my reservation, someone else had already been checked in with my info. I had already prepaid and they asked for payment, then they asked me which phone number is better. The other phone number they had was from a different state. I will be watching my credit card statement for excess charges. The room was fine but it was newly renovated so it smelled like carpet glue and paint fumes on the entire floor. Once we got in the room we didn't notice the odor much. It was in a nice location and easy to get in and out of. If not for the check in mess I would recommend it. Won't be staying here again.

Nice clean holiday Inn. The staff is very nice and friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, movie theater and shopping right across the street. The continental breakfast is pretty good.

Nice place. Just be sure not to take the i10 west ramp like my friend did twice lol. I would not say they are above or below avg. It's a holiday inn Express and you should expect the same quality service you get everywhere. I didn't stay there myself. I webt there for a very small work thing.

I met a work contact in the lobby for a couple of hours. We were able to easily accomplish our task in peace in the breakfast area.

Very disappointing. Room dingy. HVAC not working--huge problem. Room smells. Front desk attendant is sweet and friendly but these issues were not in her knowledge base. I am generally holiday Inn express loyal, but not this location ever again.

The front desk staff was very friendly and did their job well. Room was clean and they had a good breakfast spread. Every employee I encountered smiled and was welcoming.
