Staff was friendly for the most part. Manger was complaining to me about the price the 800# offered on the corporate discount. Me being the customer, doesn't want to hear how they can't do that! I thought with all the complaining, he wasn't going to honor the price, but he did. I paid only $67 and it is all it was worth. It you want me to pay top dollar then you need to make sure you don't have taped down rugs in the lobby or worn out / unraveling carpet in the room.

Nice quiet place, free breakfast choices were way beyond cereal and milk! Looking forward to tomorrow's breakfast! We had the king bed, so nice and comfortable, long gone are those crappy spring mattresses!
I would come again. The only step back that's not so pleasant is the powerful air fresheners they use in the lobby, but we'd come again for sure!

We we're in town to go shopping so the location was great. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. We had wanted to watch a movie, but after trying to follow the instructions in the guest guide, I called the front desk and found out that they were getting ready to renovate so they had removed the pay per view system. Other than that it was a great experience.

I have never had a worse experience at a Holiday Inn before. For starters, the shower was not cleaned between guests because there were still clumps of hair on the shower wall when I got in. Secondly, when I got into bed the first night, there were stains and hair scattered all over the sheets and pillows - so apparently they didn’t clean the sheets between guests eitherew. When I tried to call the front desk to fix this problem, the phone was broken. I walked to the front desk and was promised a fresh clean, and new towels and sheets immediately. However, as I got into the shower and bed the second night, the same hair was there and the same stains on the sheets. This is the most disgusting and disappointing hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If I wasn’t here for a work conference being hosted by the hotel, I would have checked myself out immediately. Do not book this hotel for your stay in this area. There are far better elsewhere.

Probably the worst Holiday Inn Express I've ever experienced. The beds are horribly uncomfortable with a saggy mattress and noisy bed frame. Our first day there it rained a lot. When we returned to the room in the evening I noticed water dripping through the ceiling. I called the front desk (twice) to ask for maintenance to come to our room as it was dripping right on top of our cabinet that held the TV. The maintenance person finally came in, took two steps into the room and told me it wasn't a problem? That they were having issues on the 5th floor - we were on the 2nd floor. A few minutes later our cable zapped out and I listened to water drip for the rest of the night. I reported it (again) the next morning when I checked out and the front desk staff person did not seem overly concerned- just apologized. Would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

My husband and I have stayed here several times over the years plus I have used it for business. I have to say now you can see the old age of the hotel at the edges. It is showing it's age. There was two items that made me ding them twice. First the Internet is TERRIBLE! !!!!!!! It was so slow that I could not get my Gmail to open and it was between Midnight to 1am. Then again in the morning could not get I at all either tablet, phone or laptop. Nothing! Secondly the TV, very frustrating. You cannot press Guide on the remote instead you have to go click on every channel. You only get a guide if you turn off the TV. So if you want to zone out and watch, forget about it!

When O'Hare canceled flights American Airlines hotel voucher service booked me at Holiday Inn express rolling meadows. Unfortunately they did not have available rooms. Staff did what they could but the damage was done. They were accommodating by sending us to Renaissance but call first if flight cancellations send you there.

Due to a flight cancellation I was provided a voucher to this hotel. It was about a 30 minute ride in the hotel provided shuttle but worth the trip. Clean room, nice amenities, breakfast and a shuttle back to airport. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there if I needed a room in the area.
