One word to describe this hotelFANTASTIC. From check in to check out everyone has been so kind and helpful. The rooms are spotless, and well kept. We had a lake view room and loved sitting in the chair with a cup of fresh brewed coffee from the keurig watching it snow. Breakfast was a delight, a large variety of food, including gluten free and soy milk, the breakfast host was prompt with refilling empty items and super friendly. We will definitely stay here again

Highly recommend! Modern, clean and nicely decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of Lake Superior with a balcony. Very cozy and comfortable bed and linens. Pool and Sauna clean and kept at a good temperature. One of the best included breakfasts that I have seen, there was even staff present to ensure guest's needs were met.

I would give it a 10! The place has a gorgeous setting overlooking the lake and pictured rocks. Rooms on the back have patios or decks with a view, sliding door wall and nice furnishings! They are very dog friendly, with yummies given upon check in. Dog rooms have patios right out the back. Their free breakfast is very good, with an outside patio. The desk and employees are very friendly. Best stay I've had in a chain hotel in a long time. I didn't want to leave!

I LOVE Holiday Inn Express. Love it. Very, very rarely does it disappoint. This one is top of the line. Great king suites. Great views of Lake Superior. Fabulous breakfast. Veggie egg white omelets. Turkey sausage. Fresh fruit. Very good coffee. Keurig coffee makers in every room. On site laundry facilities, important to us on our long trips. And, did I adequately emphasize great views of Lake Superior?

We loved our first floor suite with lake view! Breakfast was well done and extensive. They found us a cot which we needed the first night. Very helpful staff and clean room.

Hotel is modern and clean. Exterior goes with the area, very inviting and we'll kept. Breakfast area is maintained very well and the servers are exceptional! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we get back to this area.

Our entire time here it was wonderful. Brandon was a great help and very friendly. Our room was nice and secluded and we didn't have to worry about being super quiet since we were next to the elevator. Breakfast was soooo good and the room is large. Grateful it had a patio we could enjoy also. Walk way to the parking lot needs to be replaced a lot of loose boards. Only downfall I saw here
