Great place to stay even if the rooms are a bit older. Don't expect convenience outlets everywhere you need them, but there was enough for us to make it work. We stayed in the smallest single bed room without a kitchen, but there was enough room. There was a fridge AND a microwave (which was nice). There was also a table with two chairs rather than a desk, which we prefer since it'll work for a laptop but we also play board games and your typical hotel desk doesn't work well for that. View is awesome and you're able to park right in front of your room (super convenient). We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the area. Oh, and the Wifi is at least 100Mb down. 👍

Absolutely amazing ❤️ ❤️❤️ the view is breathtaking! There is plenty of space to sit and have a glass of wine while the kids play and feed the ducks. They have outdoor grills and the rooms are so cozy!

The sunset motel was absolutely wonderful. We had a kitchenette. We were on lake Superior. We went in picture rocks cruise, which is just down the road. The price was great. I would definitely come again. Teresa from Minocqua WI

Million dollar view of Lake Superior! Very quaint with a vintage feel. The room is serviceable with a comfortable bed. Outside seating area where you can grill your own dinner if you like.

Beautiful views! Waterfront. Lovely clean updated rooms with air conditioning. Full kitchen in our room. Two bedrooms with queen beds. Free WiFi. Floor level with parking at door and Pet-friendly! Looking forward to coming back and we haven't even left yet!

Clean and in a nice location. Beautiful views of the lake. Nothing fancy, but good rooms with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There was a nice sitting area by the lake and a charcoal grill available. Better than many UP motels.

Comfortable, convenient access to Munising activities, great view, friendly staff. Not a lot of electrical outlets and Wi-Fi is spotty, but it's the UP.

We opted for one of the vacation homes. It was great! Three bedrooms one bathroom, a full kitchen. It was so nice to spread out in a house instead of a hotel room. There isn't really a breakfast here. Great views of Lake Superior.

This motel is right by lake superior and has exceptional views. Stayed here for two nights in May 2015. The views outside this hotel are unbelievable for the cost - definitely value for money. The kitchen in our room was also very useful - we cooked our own meals during our stay. We had a magical moment during our stay when the lake was extremely still during sunset - the mist, the sunset and the mirror like reflections made the whole setting surreal.
