Couldn't find a campsite that wasn't snow covered. North star was a last minute option and it was a good one with a hot tub that fit the budget.

Stayed here due to extreme heat on the last night of our camping trip in the Munising area. Excellent independent hotel with friendly staff and clean, modern rooms. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean, everything was in working order. The television remote had buttons for a cable box, but there was no box apparent. Cable TV was still accessible regardless. The shampoo and body wash unfortunately does not lather and I wound up using probably more than was necessary. The toilets are also very small and short.

The hotel is modern and clean. Very close to town. The Jacuzzi area was really nice, but there was no pool. Breakfast was mediocre. Nothing really stood out. Overall, we would probably stay here again.

Very clean!! Friendly staff and fair priced staying another night. Glad we stopped here was last minute decision and happy that the hot tub was still open.

Essentials - very clean rooms, comfortable beds, No Elevator, convenient location

I have always stayed in a branded hotels so far, and was bit skeptical about this hotel at first. However, I chose this one over other motels based on top class google reviews and hotel did not disappointed at all. Its a nice, convenient hotel, friendly staff, comparable amenities to all branded hotels, and all the essential facilities in Room. Room and linens cleanliness was most important factor for me and it was great. Munising is very small town, and you can get to downtown, all attractions, pictures rock cruises, Falls and beaches within 10 miles radius. I definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again.
I gave four star because breakfast is not up to the mark for the price paid. Also, my used conditioner and cream was not replaced during second night stay.response / report this review -

Very neat and clean hotel. Staff was great to help us get a second night after being booked full long story. I'm the end they were Very helpful and did everything they could to accommodate us.

Women at the front desk was fantastic, we would return just for her. Printer was available to print our kayaking tickets. Room was very clean on arrival. Whirlpool and suana were nice and clean. Parking was was very convenient. The only issue we had was the shower temperature couldn't be controlled and we both scalded ourselves in the shower. This was due to a bad shower handle. Its a short drive to downtown. Very close to the trails. We would definitely return.

This hotel is very tranquil. Had the best continental breakfast staff was very courteous and very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here price is really good
