Great location, huge place with a ton of rooms and lots to see and do. Multiple fridges, grills, chilling spots, I highly suggest this spot with large groups. We had 25 and everyone had their own bed. Lots of bathrooms as well.

Our group spent about 3 days at the Pinewood lodge this July. With 10 bedrooms, there was enough space for all. The kids loved having their "own beach" and the big room with the bunks. They made s'mores every evening at the fire pit. Matt and Holly were very prompt, clear and detailed in their responses from the beginning. The walk through video of the lodge helped get a better idea of the details. We cooked all our meals at the lodge and the kitchens were well stocked. We were able to take a boat tour of the Pictured rocks, just a 15 minute drive from there. There are many more things to do in the area but we chose to enjoy the beautiful lodge and scenery! We had a memorable 50th anniversary celebration and the lodge was definitely a big part of the memories made!

Great place for large family get together. Visited early July 2017. Quite private beach right behind the house. Great responsive, courteous, friendly management. Beautiful clean lodge. Well stocked kitchens and amenities for the rest of the house. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back for more get togethers in the future.

We just celebrated our parent's 50th wedding anniversary at the pinewood lodge private resort. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable trip. I would like to thank Matt and Holly, the owners, for their professionalism. They were very prompt in answering all our questions and were very accessible throughout our stay. The lodge itself was very comfortable for a large group like ours.
