Big nice suites. Clean overall. Bunk beds for the kids in the same room in the room we had.. the only down side was the patch job on the ceiling in the bathroom, fell off. Looks like it had been spackled a few times but the problem is water leaking from room above.. aside from that, the place was nice.

Hotel smells like cigarettes. Rooms smell fine to me. If you have a sensitive nose, stay away.

I'm a Spire member and I cannot give 5 stars due to one major issue (at least for me). This is my second time at this hotel and the service is great and staff is wonderful. I come here for work so I don't have much choice. My complaint is the water pressure. Took me a full 5 minutes to rinse my hair (I'm a guy) and an entire 30 minutes to shower. I couldn't even enjoy a hot shower due to the water being all the way hot, minimal pressure and water not warm. It's a cold morning and all I wanted was a hot shower.

This hotel is renovated, clean, and very roomy inside. Very comfortable bedding. Pet friendly, which was a perk for us traveling with a dog! It is a $40 charge, which I felt was a bit much.
But I give it five stars for the service. I believe the staff member at the front desk was named Colleen. She was funny and very welcoming. The breakfast was yummy and the check-in/check-out process was simple. Nice stay!

Very clean. Excellent front desk staff, which is impressive anymore. One of the better breakfasts we've ever encountered, including gluten-free offerings. This franchise knows how to do it right!

Holiday Inn Express ROCKS! This is my first time at the Howe, IN location; I've also stayed at HIE in Baton Rouge, LA. Great accommodations, great breakfast, great price, friendly employees you can't go wrong!!

Got special pricing due to work in the area which is nice. The hotel was clean and internet was amazing. The free service is a fast connection ad not something that is throttled to a low bandwidth that ends up as a slow browsing. This is located in Howe, IN which truthfully I don't see much else around. But this is one of the nicer hotels in the area if you need to stop

Katherine presented a very nice breakfast. And she was very pleasant with all the customers. The room was very comfortable and the shades enabled complete privacy! New furnishings too. Handicap bathroom very large.

We got to the hotel late in the evening after our rented truck broke down and we spent 4 hours on the side of the road. The personnel was friendly and accommodating. We got the replacement truck at 2.30 pm of the following day and they let us stay in thero without any extra charge. Breakfast was nice and again, the personnel in the dining room was friendly and helpful. Nice clean small gym and pool. Even our dog enjoyed it!!
Truly recommended.

Room 300 is a small 1 queen bed room. Everything was clean and pleasant except there was a good amount of dust on the top of the bedside lamp shade. Delicious Carmel mocha creamer with my morning coffee complimented the typical HI express breakfast. Pleasant happy staff. Nice place.

My family and I lost power in our home. It was very cold out and we need a place to go. It was earlier then most hotels are open for check in. After calling a couple hotels and getting no help I called the Holliday inn express. They were very helpful. they arranged for a room to be cleaned and called me as soon as it was ready. The hotel was very clean and very nicely remodeled. The customer service was exceptional. Even going above and beyond to find tape for my son who's arm is in a cast so he could go swimming. The breakfast was good and the coffee was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
