3 stars bc front desk lady was not very friendly, but overall it was a comfortable stay.
They were renovating the hotel when we stayed- soon will be a Best Western.
The beds were not that comfortable but we were so tired we all slept very well. It was nice and quiet!
The continental breakfast was ok. The bread options were not fresh. I had trouble getting the pancake machine to work and even tho the kind lady tried- I gave up on it after a while. Just ate oatmeal.

The rooms aren't that clean. The chair has wet stains. There were hairs in the tub before I got there. The beds are quite firm (which I didn't care for). The pillows were really soft. The shower head really needs some TLC or at least CLR - it's caked in green.
The staff was very nice, which was this hotels redeeming quality.

Staff is very friendly and as accommodating as possible given the condition of the hotel. Arrived late night. Hotel is dirty which includes elevator. Room chair is filthy and nasty. The bed appears clean but is extremely squeaky and uncomfortable. Worst is the room has a leaking refrigerator which is obviously chronic due to wet carpet and wet and split wood on cabinet. Then there is the musty stench. The very kind staff person showed me two other rooms which were actually worse in regard to overpowering musty odor. The hotel earned one star for the very kind staff; everything else is a zero.

By far the weirdest experience I have had at a hotel. Upon check-in, we realized that we had accidentally booked a smoking room; a little annoying but I assumed it was my own fault for not double checking the reservation. When we get off the elevator onto the second floor, we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. It was awful. We went in our room expecting it to be worse, but it was actually better inside our room which makes very little sense. This smell was a constant issue all weekend. The hallway seemed to get worse every day. We're a young couple that is fairly accustomed to dealing with smoky bar atmospheres, and this was BEYOND a smoky bar. It honestly smelled like someone stood right in front of the elevator and smoked an entire pack each morning. If I had children or any kind of serious sensitivity to cigarette smoke, it would have been a deal breaker and we would have checked out immediately. I unpacked my suitcase about 30 minutes ago, and was again hit in the face with a wave of nicotine. It was outrageous.

Our room itself had its own share of strange issues. When we arrived, we noticed that the tub had been left dripping with the stopper down. There was a couple inches of water in our tub. The carpet in the entryway was damp. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Our room had two paintings on the walls.identical paintings hung in two different locations within the same room. At one point housekeeping arrived to get our dirty towels. We never received any new ones. Both of our room keys stopped working on the first night. This morning, we were awoken by housekeeping keying into our room. There was never an announcement made and if there was a knock, it was so faint that neither of us heard it.

I hate to leave a bad review on a Holiday Inn. In the past 9 months, we have stayed at various Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express locations three times. We have never had an experience like this one and we are very confused about what happened and who dropped the ball at this particular hotel. We kept saying to ourselves that this could be nice if someone would just take a little more care of everything. Hopefully this was a fluke experience and these issues will be resolved.
