Only one entrance. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Clean and updated rooms with showers that tall people can enjoy (i'm 6'5")

Rooms were recently remodeled. They were clean. The front desk was polite and helpful. The restaurant was good, too. Parking was simple and easy. It made for a nice getaway while we were visiting friends in the area.

Lovely rooms, the mattress was so good I want to go buy a new one for my house. We had breakfast down stairs a bunch of good food. Something for everybody.

I have had the best experience at this hotel compared to any other hotel I’ve stayed in. Extremely friendly, polite, and top of the line hosts, took care of any problem I had as soon as it was brought to their attention. And the restaurant that’s connected to the hotel continues the experience with the same too of the line care with amazing food and quick service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! Also the rooms are amazing too, very clean and well kept. Well done to all of you at this location.

Karen Davis, Sales Director of Holiday Inn Lakewood, CO, supposedly setup a block of rooms for my wedding in July 2017 and I had asked her to reserve two of the rooms in the block for my family. I setup the block in April, 2017.
By June 2017, I had several guests not be able to book their rooms because the group code was non-existent, whether the guest tried to book online or over the phone. No one on the hotel customer service team could seem to find my group code in their records. All of my guests ended up booking at neighboring hotels. I still have the contract sitting in my email, signed, with a responding "thank you for your business" email.
I was really upset to find out that not even MY rooms were booked, even though Karen Davis took my credit card information over the phone and told me both rooms were booked. I guess she is not interested in making sales, even though her title is "Sales Director" of Holiday Inn, Lakewood.
I promise you that at least 10-15 rooms would have been booked for my wedding @ $129 per night, for two nights. That is at least $2,786-$4180 of lost potential revenue for Holiday Inn.
I had to double back and book at another near by hotel, while my guests were all scattered in the area (@Best Western, Hampton, Marriott, etc.). The surrounding hotels ate up all of the potential business that my wedding could have given to the Holiday Inn of Lakewood, CO. I cautioned my guests to avoid booking with this particular Holiday Inn as I feared they would have their credit card information taken over the phone only to have a "phantom" reservation that doesn't actually exist.
I am just disappointed. I have had good experiences at other Holiday Inns. This one just didn't seem to have its stuff together, at least not for me.response / report this review -

This is definitely my new go to hotel. Very nice , clean comfortable rooms. The pool looks nice, hopefully next time we can enjoy it.

Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations! We had so much out of town family come in and they were so accommodating to all of them. It was amazing how they were able to meet everyone’s needs. They even have a bar and grill attached which made it really easy to get a quick bite. The rooms were so clean and the beds were beyond comfy. We stayed there for our honeymoon suite and it was amazing. We had to use the shuttle and the drivers were so nice and professional. I could not have been happier with this hotel for my wedding weekend!

Went for Dart Drone training. It was adequate. Just wish they provided WiFi password freely for anyone doing business there. The Bar and grill was actually quite good.

Good parking, nicely equipped and furnished. Good mini fridge. Not enough drawers for two guests. Slight smell to the room.

It's a beautiful hotel. We stayed a few nights and we were treated very well by all the employees. For us it's located perfectly. And a good beakfast to start the day. I checked for bed bugs and none! Our room was clean and well set up.

The rooms are freshly updated and modern. I've stayed here several times over the last 3 years and the staff has always been professional yet personal. Great hotel! Dont hesitate to book a room.

The rooms are re-modeled and in excellent condition. I had a problem with the shower in my room and complained to the front desk. They had someone look at it, but that night it was still not getting hot water. I made a complaint again and they moved me to a different room which had a working shower. All in all, except for the shower it was a good experience. The breakfast vouchers are the best part of the experience. The breakfast is fantastic and the service there is excellent.
