Stayed here for a couple days with my son while visiting CU. Great hotel and staff! Valet service was great. Needed car several times and they were always quick and friendly. Had some appetizers in the attached pub that were excellent and the in-house restaurant was great for breakfast. Didn't try it for dinner but menu looked great. Very cool old hotel charm with great service. Would absolutely stay here next time in Boulder!

Went to happy hour at the corner bar in the hotel. The hotel is beautiful inside! I liked all of the dark wood in the hotel and bar. Happy hour drinks were quite good and reasonably priced. We got a bit of food which was tasty but a little expensive considering it was happy hour. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it.

Wow this is a hotel you need to check out! The food is amazing, and they even have their own Spruce inside. But what will actually take your attention is the construction! It looks like you are walking into an old fashion wild west setting but with modern looks. The stairs and the wood carpentry will keep you amazed! It's a beautiful place if you appreciate oldies.

The historic ambiance of this hotel is incomparable. No detail is overlooked. The staff is professional, accommodating, service-oriented and its obviously a good work environment - everybody is authentic, smiling and invite you back with their actions, deeds, and demeanor. I love this place. Excellent food, nice espresso bar, valet parking if you wish, turndown service, complimentary bottled water. Emphasis on the local Boulder mentality - classic, cultured, sophisticated but not snobby. Nice, nice, nice. Bonus for quality sheets and digs. Dog-friendly.

My stay at Boulderado was such a treat! I was in town for work, and happened to book here for lack of open rooms at other locations for my last-minute booking, not realizing how lucky I was to stay in this lovely vintage hotel. The entire experience was seamless and delightful - the staff was kind, the rooms comfortable in size and amenities, and the hotel itself was a beauty. I enjoyed the atmosphere and architecture, out of the early 1900s, and appreciated the dedication to honoring that history and motif in everything from the classic bar and restaurant offerings, to the evening of live jazz in the lobby on Friday evening. Overall a quality experience at a well-managed and well-located venue.

Truly a five-star experience from start to finish. I've traveled a lot both personally and professionally, and this has to be my top Hotel experience. The amenities were fantastic, and staff was attentive and helpful and friendly, and the location and views were fabulous.

I was here only for the restaurant and bar and did not stay here as a guest. The bar in the basement of the hotel is fantastic. It's called License #1 and is a must go if you are staying here or in the area. It's a speak easy type place and the signature drinks are fantastic. Seems really authentic. Live music is played here regularly.

Nice turn of the century Hotel with modern amenities. Maybe even a few ghosts. The hotel bar has plenty of seating inside as well as outside. Nice selection of draft beers & appetizers you have to try their spicy fire roasted brussel sprouts

We went to the restaurant inside the bar. Went with a large group. We shared our apps and they were all tasty (tuna platter, brussel sprouts, deviled eggs, oysters). Everyone said they enjoyed they're entrees as well. You can get out of there with a relatively cheap check too. Have fun!

The restaurant is amazing. They have great food and phenomenal creme brulee. The wait staff are very friendly, attentive when you need them but not hovering. The hotel itself is very beautiful and nicely restored.

Excellent service, good food. Great happy hour deals. Gets pretty loud when busy, but overall a good experience. The truffle fries were particularly delightful.

License No.1 is a really nice bar with a great ambiance. It has a good nostalgia feel. The live music was very fitting as well, choosing the vibe perfectly. I will be back, no doubt about it.

I wanted to stay here for years and the chance finally came around. I was not disappointed. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Lets start with the building itself. Beautiful. Stunning. If it wasn't sitting next to the Rocky mountains themselves it would be the single most glorious site for miles. Thenthe staff. Wow, super friendly. Extremely helpful with all of our questions and concerns and gave us all kinds of great info on the city. They really took it up a level and gave us some personal tips on what we might like and what "touristy" areas we could avoid. It was really a great experience. Oh, and take a ride on their old elevator. That thing is neat. Then, go down to the bar below the place. Top shelf all the way.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The hotel was booked by my assistant in London. I could not be more pleased. The location is brilliant, just off the downtown area with easy access to shops and dining. The lobby area is fantastic, beautiful furnishings, and hardwoods. The hotel is historical yet impeccably maintained. There are several pubs and restaurants from which to choose, each with a varied price range and ambiance. The mezzanine area, atop a large beautiful staircase offers an area for cocktails and people watching below. When entering my room I felt like I had stepped back in time. Large heavy and light blocking draperies, comfy bed with very nice linens, and furnishings that lend themselves to the historic traditions of this fine hotel. I am pleased to give the Boulderado my highest recommendation.
