I’ve been here less than 24 hours and I am already greatly disappointed. We arrived to see an Asbestos removal service working on some rooms which is a huge safety hazard we pre paid so no way out now. The hot tub was also filthy when we went to have a dip, and our room is damp and musty. Definitely not what I expect for almost $200 a night. Boulder is great, won’t be back to this “hotel”
Awesome bed! Very comfortable. I liked how you drive up to your room. Makes unpacking much easier. Great place to stop by! The front desk associate was SUPER nice. I believe her name was Ollieah. She went above and beyond her duty. Very nice and wrote out multiple recommend places we can go and explore.
Love this place! Ridiculously comfy beds, super nice staff, and a (big) hot tub! Great rates when booking through HotelTonight! Awesome location near the main CU campus, close to great shopping and food. Would definitely stay again.
Staying at Basecamp Boulder was one of the highlights of my trip last Christmas. After a reservation nightmare at another local hotel we stopped at Basecamp to see if they had any accommodations available, we arrived late, and after hearing our story the manager offered us some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. She was super supportive, and offered us a great price for the next few nights. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff there.
The hotel itself was amazing as well. The rooms were clean, comfy, and had a beautiful rustic appeal. The beds were huge. There was a fire place on the patio outdoors by the service desk, a cafe and bar in the main lobby, the hotel boast a dry sauna, an indoor hot tub, as well as an indoor bouldering wall and table tennis. It is centrally located, so it is easy to get to both the Flat Irons and downtown to all the shops and restaurants.
From here on out, anytime I find myself in the Boulder area, this is where I will be staying.
We loved our stay. Definitely would recommend and stay there again! Both young ladies that helped us were amazing! Very friendly and enjoyed chatting with them. Rooms were CLEAN & comfortable. Loved the comfy yet boutique vibe that the hotel has. Yummy coffee, awesome craft beer, cookies and other treats available. There is a rock wall, gathering area and inside pool & sauna. We were there during a snow storm but next time, we plan to use the amenities. We fell in LOVE with Boulder and with Basecamp! Thank you for a wonderful stay!♡
Friendly service. Nice firepit. Clean rooms woth lots of space. Only downside is the tiny bathrooms. The bathrooms should be larger given the size of the rest of the rooms.
Just a renovated motel with nice decor - no frills, and not worth the $300 a night price. We stayed in the largest room (2 queens). Bring your own soaps! The rug is dirty - needs to be changed. Pump soap in shower doesn’t work - had to disassemble in order to get soap out of the dispenser. Reception told me that all rooms are allowed to have only 4 hangers - what?!?! No dresser, but a couple of shelves. With the price, I had higher expectations.
We had stayed here years ago when it was a Quality Inn. The new owner has done a great job of showcasing the Boulder vibe with the renovations. The staff was amazing especially Ali! She was very knowledgeable and more than willing to help with anything. The climbing wall and fire pits were a very cool added bonus. The beds and sheets were comfortable and everything was clean. It was only about a 10 minute walk to Pearl Street through residential area. There were really only 2 minor negatives, 1) the parking lot is pretty small. If you have a larger vehicle it could be a problem. The second is the bathroom. The bathrooms are very small, it was a tight squeeze for me and I'm pretty small. Along the same lines, the shower head was placed at just above eye level for me which is very low (I'm 5'4) and my husband actually hit his head on it. That all being said I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Great boutique style hotel! Excellent food, coffee, and a great selection of craft beer. Super friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is a converted motel, but it's so much nicer. The room is spacious and it has a kitchenette, which is practical for longer stays. The bathroom is small but well stocked, including a black makeup removing cloth & a hair dryer. The hotel's amenities include laundry, a bar, a jacuzzi, a rock climbing wall, fire pits, and a small restaurant (I haven't eaten there yet). Service is friendly and easy to reach. The hotel is positioned near to downtown Boulder, and the walk there is along a lovely creek. A charming rustic hipster decor holds the whole experience together.
Absolutely perfect for passing through the beautiful city of Boulder. Easily accessible for exploring the Rockies. Had pretty much everything we needed (printer was broken but I feel like that was uncommon) and decent toiletries. Really love the relatively new trend of decently-kept, modestly-priced, motel-style lodging, and this place was exactly that. Nothing fancy, not at all disgusting, and had exactly what I needed.
Very disappointed When I showed up, the front desk worker was sprawled out sleeping on the couch in the check-in area. I had to wake him up, and he was unable to process my check-in, so he said things would be taken care of in the morning and he would just get me in a room for the night. In the morning, the check-in was processed, but I ended up being charged a 1-night cancellation fee because I "hadn't checked in" the previous night. They recognized that this was in error, but I have called 6 times over the past 2 months to get it fixed and no resolution has yet come of it. Definitely stay away, especially if you're on company business.
Had a wonderful say here. The bedrooms are decorated in a outdoorsy theme. The rooms are kept really clean and appears to be newly renovated complete with a tiled shower. The staff was quite helpful and they even have a local guide with recommendations of places to go in town and activities within the area for the different seasons. Definitely will look at booking here again.
