This hotel is managed by the Geneva Lodge which was a downside for us. The Geneva Lodge is not very informative or straightforward with their answers and if you ask anything about holiday inn other than to say you're checking in/out they have no answers for you. When asked if breakfast was included they said "breakfast is served in the main lobby" so we assumed that meant it was included in the stay. It was not. It was a breakfast buffet and we sat down thinking it couldn't be that pricey. 22.00 per plate. If we had been told all that from the beginning we would have went to a local diner. The room itself was clean and nice, although the bed was right next to the door so we could hear anyone in the hall at night. I would stay here again if I could insure to get a room that doesn't have the bed right next to the door.

MUCH better than previous stays with Holiday Inn Club Vacations at another location in some ways. Much cleaner and far more organized. Would suggest better signage and LIGHTS to point out where to go to check in (check in at Grand Geneva). It's great sharing amenities with the larger resort. Trolleys were cool. Would have enjoyed a more detailed explanation of all available amenities and which ones cost extra. The toiletries were a bit on the scarce side, but overall our experience was wonderful.

The location is awesome, but the rooms are weird. I've stayed here a few times due to the proximity of my clients. I am baffled that the main entry door to my room is in the sleeping area and the kitchen living area are in the rear. Nonetheless, the main building where the restaurants are located if very nice. Good food and drink is available with excellent service.

We were placed in an older model room so although the room was decent, it still had flaws. The first thing you see when you walk in the room is the bedroom and that sucks if you have guests or room service stop by. Also the corners of mattress was starting to wear out, the jacuzzi tub was small and had stains in the corner, lastly the ice maker is noisy. Other than that, the room is not bad. The fire place worked great which was a plus that made our stay tolerable.

Everything with the exception of the shower doors and tile floors in the bath & kitchen were upscale, new looking and clean in the suite we had. The views from the balcony were of the beautifully kept grounds and golf course, and the amenities seemed boundless.

However it was very expensive for this type of room, the room was beautiful and included an arguably full kitchen. The fridge was cold on arrival, the electric stove and oven was as good as you'd expect from home, and the elevators led to an open air walkway in the front for every floor. The rear of the building, which every room had a balcony on, had a great view of the well manicured golf course located on campus. The hotel buildings had walking access to a heated outdoor pool/hot tub, and a bar that served drinks and food seasonally. The hotel had a trolley/bus service with EXTREMELY friendly staff. My party needed to go to the main building, and as we prepared to walk a bus driver stopped and opened his door, asking us where we wanted to go. He was happy and eager to go out of his regular schedule to get us to the main doors in a short time, friendliest happiest I've ever seen. He gets ten stars, wish I caught a name. He was working a minibus late-midday 8-26-17 I believe. Good on ya

Rooms are nice. You can open two doors to connect them and make a large space. Everything was clean and it's not super crowded.

Nice resort. Holiday Inn does not own the resort but you have access to activities but probably pay more than those staying other than Holiday Inn Club. We will come back again.

Went with our whole family from Ontario, Canada. Had a good time swimming (in multiple pools), going for walks around the large property, and golfing. There's a small petting zoo that the young kids really enjoyed. Golf course was in top notch condition. Not a ton to do in the surrounding area, but Milwaukee was about a 45minute drive and we went to the zoo there as well.

Had a wonderful quick weekend trip with my family at the Grand Geneva! It's in a great location near everything in beautiful Lake Geneva. We mostly spent our time at the pool with our kids. I have a one year old and thankfully there is a baby pool right next to the bigger pool so I didn't have to feel secluded from the rest of my family. There were also several activities going on throughout the day. They played a shark game with the bigger kids and later even did the Limbo! Music is always playing and there is poolside service for drinks. Fantastic experience!!

Great updated rooms with working AC and multiple usb plugs by the bed. However, this is a time share property. The check in is at the Grand Geneva (1/2 mile away). They do not provide a receipt at checkout so u have to make sure you get it via email for business expenses. Their is nothing in the building your staying except the rooms. So if you want to enjoy the spa, fitness center or anything then you must drive to where you checked in at.
