The place was a bit under maintained. The pool area was down through our whole stay. Super disappointed with that considering I paid 71 dollars a night. I've paid less and gotten way more out of a hotel. The only good thing was the bed in the room. It was super comfortable. I liked it and The covers were fluffy. The TV was outdated and fat and the signal sucked on it. Our sink in the small little kitchen area barely worked and the mini fridge was pretty loud at night. It Barely kept drinks cold, just cool enough. The shower was kind of annoying because the water only came out so much. Didn't enjoy that. Our Bathroom was very small with no walking room. Overall the room in the bed area is very spacious and clean but outdated, modern wise. Wierdly proportioned. If I'm not mistaken it probably is a family owned hotel, which explained maintenance problems and how outdated it was But I'm not giving this place a break because of its price. Only reason I booked this hotel was for location. Cheapest we could find location wise. It's only a good hotel for sleeping the nights you're there. And hotel house keeping is on time everymorning so I liked that. For those two things, they get two stars. Don't expect any more service than that though. The most appropriate price this hotel should charge should be at a rate of 45 - 50 a night max, But they don't. If anyone is planning to stay longer than two days around Geneva. I would advise spending the extra money on a better maintained hotel around the area. I kinda feel robbed.

More like the shiteu Royale, don't bother unless you like going back to the 70's. Pool heater just happened to be broke. 13" TVs. Old way out of date everything

Nope. Find somewhere else. We have one more night here because we can't cancel a two night reservation. Should have gone with my gut and paid the extra to stay just a few minute further out of town. Enough dust on the TV and side tables to write our names in. Soap scum around the tub and the toilet is dirty. Seems like Royale doesn't quite mean what it used to.

If you're looking for a seventies style motel, this is it It is very out dated, no amenities in the room. I will say the room was clean and the staff was helpful when we first arrived. We will probably not stay there again. Price is why we stayed.

Stayed here this past weekend and after reading previous reviews I was sort of nervous to stay here. Person that checked us in was very friendly. Our room was very clean and I actually enjoyed my stay here, even though I was really only at the hotel to sleep. The only negative things I would say is that our blanket had a cigarette burn in it, the "wood" floor in the room was dirty, and the towels were very thin and small. Other than that, it was enjoyable.

This place is HORRIBLE! It looks like a "remodled" apartment complex. Dirty and NOT a bed and breakfast as they claim. The service was TERRIBLE! Too expensive for what they offer. There was a broken down school bus in the parking lot that people actually lived in! The front desk person kicked me out of the hotel after I told him my reservation was wrong. Dark and depressing! Stay away from this one!

Was so disappointed rooms were awful. Silver fish in the bathroom. Get 1 bath towel. No housekeeping. Thinking they got the furniture at a auction. Veneer coming off the dressers Carpeting in room was dirty said coffee maker in room.. nope no coffee maker That is in the lobby. But no coffee pot to make coffee. It was so dirty where the coffer maker was not sure what you would catch. .. ad said free in room wifi nope that is not the case. Lobby only. Ad said cable tv nope that is not true. Get 5 channels and the picture on the tv was not clear. Showed picture of hot tub no hot tub this was boarded up. Pool shady at best. The lighting outside is a light laying on the ground with cords running in through the windows. I would recommend choosing something else..

It's horrible! Everything is totally outdated. Their WI-FI doesn't even work. There are literally springs poking into your back from the outdated mattresses. Your better off sleeping on the floor! I've truly never seen anything like this place, and I'm surprised no one has shut this place down.
