Great ski resort but lift ticket prices are insane. $130 for adults and $111 for a 6 year old!!! I understand there are slight discounts if purchased 48 hours in advance but you don’t even catch a break on 2 day pass if purchased on same day. Nice to have RFID lift passes and go straight to lifts but many resorts already implemented that. My suggestion is to have another price bracket for kids.

Stowe Mountain Golf Club is home to one of the top-rated and finest championship golf courses in Vermont. The excellent tree-lined, mountain-style layout contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Definitely a course that will challenge your all-round game, and well worth going out of your way to play.

Great mountain, pricey though. Definitely buy tickets online in advance. $130 for an all day ticket is too much. Conditions were great. The mountain is typically overcast so pack the appropriate goggles!

Well staffed resort with great terrain! There are two sides connected by a gondola. The Spruce Peak side is much less busy, compared to the Mansfield side. The chalet on the Spruce side also has a great cafe for lunch. Additionally, there is a cute little village with a skating rink. The instructors here are fantastic - my partner signed up for a group lesson and ended up with a private lesson because no one else showed up. Ticket lines can get busy in the morning so do plan for that. Parking is free on the Mansfield side but only free for 30 min within the village. There is terrain for all abilities. Some of the double black runs are quite spicy! Would absolutely recommend this resort and the town of Stowe for a vacation, whether it be a family getaway or a couples retreat. Fantastic mountain with lots of great apres ski choices!

Waiting lines were reduced, so up to 3 stars. Make sure to book online and 2 days in advance ($93), otherwise it is $130 per day.
2017: I went there for 2 days of skiing last weekend. Ski-wise OK, probably as good as it gets in New England, 4 stars for that.
-1 star for the waiting line in the morning, which was over half an hour even though I booked in advance. There is a lack of desks, the location of desks is unclear (their are additional hidden ones), and the process with vouchers etc. seems to be messy (my booking took less than a minute, but I was of course waiting for other people's bookings). For $92/day this is not acceptable.
-1 star because the lift closed before the scheduled time (4pm). This is bad because people might need to ski back to their car, and miss their last chance to do so. Also, again, for $92/day I expect a full day of skiing.
Overall, the skiing was fine, but the operation could be improved.response / report this review -

Came to Stowe for the first time last winter and immediately regretted it. If you don't buy lift tickets online, expect to pay $129. The Vail prices are showing through already. This is outrageous- more than Jackson Hole for Pete sakes! Anyway the staff are very friendly. Came here on a pow day which got tracked out before noon. The mountain is ok- I was able to hit every trail in a single day. Moguls moguls moguls everywhere. The top of the gondola is quite crowded on the trails, but once you get down a bit the people spread out. I can say I skied Stowe and check it off my list, but I won't be returning. Their top and mid mountain food places didn't open until noon- so after searching for food for over an hour, we finally decided to head to the base area for food. Their crepes are amazing though and $$$$. Lodging in the town is abundant and reasonably priced, with plenty of places to eat at. Overall not thrilled with Stowe.

They have skiing range for beginners and experts. They got classes for beginners as well. This is an awesome place to go skiing.

Amazing hotel rooms, relitively affordable prices during summer. Facilities such as the pool, gym, spa seemed to be in good condition (the gym is huge). The staff were friendly. I did find that they tried to hard sell an upgraded room that went from +750$ a night down to +350$ a night, wouldn't take no for an answer.

I love the spa! Super clean and they use all natural and environmentally friendly products. We've been for massage treatments, facials, mani/pedi and even had my hair done real fancy for a wedding! I really appreciate the separate women's and men's sauna/salt bath/hot tub area, but then the sanctuary is co-ed. There are TWO outdoor hot tubs and the pool is huge!

Amazing place to ski and snowboard! A definite must visit for any skier or snowboarder! Not crowded, great snow and the people are super helpful. Can't wait to go back!

I went to Stowe in February of 2017 on a bus trip with 35 others. The Stowe staff was very accommodating to us and we were able to park easily and get our passes quickly. We had quick access to lifts and didn't wait long at all each time we took a lift. The mountain had plenty of snow and I had a blast!

If you like tourists this is your place, from jersey/mass/conneticunt please come. Great facility and friendly staff just be prepared for your wallet to know you were in stowe.

Beautiful scenery for the area. Good options for lifts/gondolas. Quick lines, good runs. Would recommend going here if you are deciding about where to go for first time in the Appalachians.

My girlfriend and I took the zip tour adventure. The staff were amazing, the ziplines were fun. We would definitely recommend the zip tour for anyone looking for a fun day in Stowe.
