Our 4th visit and we still love it! Randy the owner gives you a hotel feel with the perks of a b&b. He provides privacy which is so important at an intimate inn. The suite with the double jacuzzi tub and fireplace makes for an amazing get away. Get ready for fresh cake and cider upon arrival and a full breakfast before you go. We love that it is on the Stowe Bike Path a short walk to music and dining. Thank you Randy! We will be back again!

We stayed in the master bedroom, and it was absolutely amazing. Randy was a great host, very welcoming and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was unbelievable and there's coffee and cake 24/7. Highly recommend this place if you want hotel quality service with a homely feel.

The Gables Inn is a phenomenal place to stay in Stowe. It's located just off a main road across from a biking/walking trail that is well maintained. The amenities are great--nice hot water in the shower, good heating and cooling system, and the Gables Suite (where we stayed) was very large and roomy with a gas fireplace and whirlpool tub large enough for two to sit comfortably. Breakfast is included with the room. Each time we ate there, both the food and coffee have been great. The location is one of the best parts though--it's a short distance from at least three different breweries, plenty of restaurants, a few mountains and hiking trails, and small locally-owned and managed stores. I will definitely return next year.

What a great find! We could not have asked for a better B&B or a better host in Randy! The inn is nestled next to the 5 mile hike/bike path that runs along Stowe and is easy access to the mountains and other areas nearby.
We stayed in the Gables Suite - we loved the comfortable bed, spacious room, and fireplace. The little bit of fall nip in the air was enough justification for us to use the fireplace each night.
Breakfast was fantastic each morning! From the seasonal special with butternut squash to the staples, with an emphasis on Cabot Cheddar and Vermont maple syrup -it was all delicious!response / report this review -

Loved our experience here at The Gables Inn. Very friendly staff and they have the most awesome dog here! Breakfasts are included and are super good! Accommodating to vegans. If we ever come back to Vermont we will absolutely return to The Gables

The owner was great to work with and easy going. My wife and I were in town for a show and he gave some great suggestions for dinner before the show. The room was comfortable, although the bed was a little squeaky. Breakfast was fantastic and worth stopping in for even if you are staying somewhere else in town. Would stay here again!

Quaint little B&B right off the Stowe Recreation Path. The owner (and his dog, Mickey) are super friendly, and the free breakfast (included with your stay) is phenomenal.

5 stars all around. I came here for a birthday weekend with my boyfriend and we had a great time! We stayed in the Master room for a couple of nights and really enjoy our stay. The room was very nice, clean and came with a TV! Randy (the owner) is a great guy who really cares about what he does, on top of being a great cook! The room came with a complimentary breakfast which was spectacular, not any standard oatmeal but home-made pancakes, eggs Benedict and omelets! I can't say enough how much we loved our stay! If we are back in Stowe we will definitely be staying at the Gables Inn again!

Great people, great value, and wonderful breakfast. Gables Inn accommodates pets. Enjoyed the rooms with a fireplace. We were lucky enough to extend our stay a few more days. Overall I enjoyed resting my head here in such a nice town.

We've been coming here multiple times over the past decade and have always enjoyed our stay. It is easy and convenient to park, close proximity to stores and general town area, and pet friendly which is a HUGE plus. We have always loved our omelets for breakfast and will continue to visit and stay whenever we go on vacations to Vermont.

Best Stowe-home town place to visit. Breakfast is amazing. Randy, the host is the best, and Mickey, the "puppy" is adorable. A must stay when,coming to town.

I made my reservation online via the hotel's website. The hotel was easy to find. I was only there for one night and all of my needs were met. Excellent breakfast (which is included in the price of the room). Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

We only visited Gables Inn for breakfast while visiting Stowe, but I can highly recommend it. The breakfast was some of the best I've had, and if you do go I suggest the "Two in a Raft" for something deliciously different.
